To be fair, they didn't really confirm DVD Season box sets until now... So, we did get a bit of new info for now.

Ya, it's not a lot, but I'd take whatever we can get. Little news is better then no news.

Dear PowerAnimals, while I respect your opinion, it is my understanding you came to this thread to contribute nothing, I knew that much of the information revealed today was revealed beforehand however it was scattered on the "Saban saved power rangers/PR2011 Casting thread" which very few individuals such as yourself have actually taken note of all the little details, this interview I have conducted has confirmed a few details for users that have not taken note of all the details or simply did not have the time to sift through the threads to find and compile the information

Espio, thanks for the confirmations. Perhaps ask if they should do a movie, which studio will they partner with?

What does the banner say? "Classic Icons, New Heroes"?

I like that, if that is indeed what it says.

Here are my thoughts on the recent happenings as listed in this thread...

-Classic Icons, New Heroes. I love that slogan, it has a nice ring to it. Definitely fits the situation with reruns on one channel and Samurai on the other.
-Bandai Namco with the video game license? Nice! Hopefully, we get some good games out of it. *Prays for a US release of any kind for Super Sentai Battle Dice-O*
-DVD boxsets released in the States would be awesome. Too awesome. I might end up getting some of those.
-Looks like Decade will possibly be showing up in the new series in some form or another. First, I'll say that even if it's only for his appearance in PR Samurai, it'll be awesomesauce. They would have to use something from that arc of Shinkenger at some point anyway, even the stuff without Decade if they had to - remember that the Ika Tenkuubuster was introduced during that arc.
-If they go for a US adaption of Decade, I'm pretty sure they'll fix the mistakes from the original Black RX adaption. What I'm wondering about is the connections to the original US series (If any) that Saban will utilize as far as the storyline goes.

All of this, among other things unrelated to PR (Which I won't discuss here because that would be going off topic), are making 2011 look like one awesome year.

The chances of a Decade adaptation are very slim, their main concern is Power Rangers, if the decade crossover benefits Power Rangers' popularity, that's a good thing, but that doesn't mean Decade will get his own series

Is it too late for someone to ask about the 40/20/2 year confusion?

Since there are 2 start dates(August 2011 and Spring 2012) I think its 40/2 = 20 per season, but this is just a guess

Internationally, that makes sense. I'm still confused by their domestic plans.

I hope not, the mistakes are what make it so entertaining. I want to see a Ferbus from a different world in EVERY episode.

Yeah, that August 2011 bit is referring to when Power Rangers airs in the UK or something. The US debut should be Feb. 2011 and I predict will go up to Fall.

Anyone else think PR2011 will be Feb to July then September to Feb then Begin 2012 in Feb 2012 with no break in between finale and premier of next season?

I don't know what to think to be honest. I guess we'll have to wait and see unless someone clears it up beforehand. One thing to keep in mind though is that the Saban rep was specifically quoted as saying that samurai theme will run two years. Nickelodeon also has a habit of having shows run only about 20 episodes or so per year. What that means is anyone's guess.
