Of Power Rangers and helmetless scenes

I've been quite a fan of the Power Rangers (most seasons) for a while, but one thing about many of its (later) seasons that I find gravely, gravely disappointing is the general lack of helmetless Rangers parts.

Why I like these parts, is that they make the actors/actresses a lot more believable as the Rangers that they are. That and.....

Does anyone else find the majority of the female Rangers to be really sexy in their Ranger suits without the helmets? (I plead guilty )

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jdu7Du8z3OE
Ashley first in her suit with the helmet off, then actually putting it on. OK...........yeah.......did any other season actually have parts like that? Honestly...

Completely honest, Summer looks drop-dead gorgeous in her suit without the helmet here. Though I just don't see why she had to use her morpher to remove it like that, as opposed to manually removing it (along with seeing her hair fly out of it <3 )

Those were just a few of the notable helmetless scenes I've picked out. How odd that some seasons like Time Force (not counting the commercial bumpers), Wild Force*, and a few that I'm missing had absolutely none at all.

*There was one in Wild Force, right? Right here: http://rangergallery.com/cpg143/disp...bum=21&pos=130
But which episode was this in?

One thing that I really liked with the helmets, was that in Lightspeed Rescue (and even Ninja Storm), the black visors on them appeared to be removable, thus revealing the Ranger's eyes from in there. This would have been really interesting if it worked with the helmets from other seasons.

Speak your piece on the matter, or you can also use this thread to conjure up even more helmetless moments in any seasons.

I love helmetless scenes--as you mentioned, they serve to reinforce the idea that the unmorphed people are the same characters morphed. Go-onger went nuts with them, and although carrying over the practice was (for obvious reasons) optional, I was really, really happy that they did carry it over to RPM.

I only like the helmetless scenes because it adds to the illusion of the actors really being inside the suits for the morphed bits.

I miss the smashed-up helmet thing LG/LR/TF had going on. Voluntary helmetlessness was cool. Involuntary helmetlessness (even if just a tiny bit) was cooler!

Helmetless scences are boring w/o any battle scars, that's why I couldn't get into it when Disney did 'em.

I see Disney edited out Ashley's reaction when all the man juice the 4 bukaked into her helmet poured on her face. Was it because of time or was the mouse being a bitch again about content?

I liked the helmetless scenes for that reason as well. I think that it's always nice to see the actors in the suits every once in a while.

Has any team ever fought helmetless before? All I remember is a few poses or them writhing on the ground without them, but have they ever been in a knockdown fight scene?

That WF one was never on the show itself. It's from the early version of "Lionheart," before they decided to give Cole the haircut and swap out Princess Shaylas from the blonde, busty version we could have had to Ann Marie's fairytale, purely-Disneyfied version.

I love the helmetless scenes as well, it does help contact the actor to the morphed action.

The funniest one I think was in Zeo when the Zeo girls morphed after being in the water then arrived back at the command chamber in their suits with PERFECT hair and makeup. Nice side effect I guess.

While I do think the helmetless scenes add to the imagination, I cant help but to cringe at certain parts of the uniform in these types of scenes. For some reason the white neck piece looks big & bulky, it looks more like a neck-brace; a feature that really urks me..!

No, they did not. They were helmetless in the scene following the Power Chamber explosion in the rubble.

I would've liked to seen actual helmetless scenes in TF & WF. Even though there are pics out there & the morphing sequences, we never saw Eric helmetless in any such manner.

That only really occurred in Season 1 and 2. They would roll down the white hoodie so it wasn't over there head.

But which episode was this in?
As mentioned earlier, it was from an earlier version of Lionheart. But they had a different Black Ranger at that point in time, in addition to the original Shayla (ever wonder why you don't actually see the Danny in that picture? That's why).

I wouldn't call it a knockdown fight, but Scott is helmetless in Control-Alt-Del. He's on the battlefield, but it's just a victory pose after his helmet gets knocked (?) off by Shifter.
