ATTENTION: PLEASE Read if you've recently sold to me!!!

Hey guys.

Apparently my paypal is acting up and is trying to charge-back a lot of money from people.

DO NOT GIVE ANY MONEY BACK! I don't honestly know why it doing this. It says something about an "un-authorized" payment, so I have no idea what is going on.

Pleas PM me if you have any questions.

Do not worry, I will get this resolved, and thanks for your business.

What a great way to start the morning...

I was just about to contact you and start a thread about this. I'm hoping that you didn't have anything to do with it, so get this resolve today please. Is it paypal or your credit card's who's screwing up. Someone had to initiate the claims for this occur, right? And even if I didn't want to give them money back, paypal already took it.
.....

"We were recently notified that one of your buyers filed a chargeback and
asked the credit card issuer to reverse a payment made to you on Jan 7,
2009.

The buyer claims that this purchase was made without authorization to use
the credit card. Their credit card issuer needs additional information from
you about this transaction."

it must be the credit card company that screwed this up.

I will not let anything happen to you guys' money.

If worse comes to worse all your items will be returned to you if there is no way to get your money back.

Did you talked to paypal or the CC?

Here's the Chargeback process according to paypal, so it had to start with someone contacting the credit card company.

1. Buyer requests chargeback from credit card company.
2. Buyer’s credit card company notifies PayPal’s merchant bank of the chargeback and debits funds from PayPal.
3. PayPal places funds related to the chargeback on a temporary hold from seller’s PayPal account.
4. PayPal immediately emails seller for additional information that can be used to dispute the chargeback.

Might be right. THOUGH how will a Hackee have benefit getting back the money to the owners CC....?? I doubt that. In this perspective I won't be able to sell my Zyu Metal Coins... So in a way your getting screwed too Buzz... No Tricera Coin until this is resolved.. Unless you send a M.O. and Wait a while to clear...... THIS SUCKS!

The only good thing about this.. is that I did purchase a Tracking INformation... and electronically it states it was received to address

Check the feedback thread... I think there's at least 7 of us in this.

I'm probably only going to accept Paypal-fund only payments in the future.

I've spent the morning getting all my correspondence together. I think my paper trail has me covered in the event that these transactions go belly up.

Hate to say it but I'm glad that I'm not the only one in this boat. However, it does worry me that this could be a big dine and dash...

Lucas, sorry if this is insulting, but a major binge of buying followed by a wholesale retraction of paypal payments looks awfully suspicious.

Luke, this needs resolving right frickin' now. I can't take a $150 loss at this moment in time.

Or ever.

Contact paypal by phone and explain the situation. And run spybot to see if you have any trojans first of all, then change your paypal password.

What seems likely is someone had access to your paypal, filed chargebacks on things you bought, so that they could send money to themselves perhaps. Thats the only explanation why they would file chargebacks that i can think of.

Might also want to contact credit card company and check for any unusual charges too, if credit card company saw unusual charges (like paypal or say a new car) they may have assumed it was stolen, and done chargebacks even though the charges were valid (except in stolen/new car scenario)

Hey guys.

I have talked to paypal and my credit card company. We are working on fixing all of this.

I also talked with GreenRangerforever on the phone earlier, so he can vouch for my commitment.

This should be cleared up in a day or 2 at most.

Also, just to re-assure those of you who are concerned, IF nothing works out your items WILL be returned to you. I can assure you that I am in no position to try and scam anyone.
