The only anime dub job I liked was for Golden Boy. That guy did an AWESOME job voicing Kintaro Oe.

There also dubs that were more popular in the US than they were in Japan like Speed Racer and Voltron. Speaking of which, just read that the guy who played Hunk and Lotor just died.

If it's just a pure dub, not cuts or edits (with exception of for time of course, which can be okay), sometimes I perfer hearing it in English.

I perfer Code Lyoko in English as opposed to French.
Big O in English beats the Japanese voices quite easily.
.hack series in English.

Kiki's Delivery Service I liked as well for the English voices over Japanese.

Plenty of others as well. As long as the English voices fit the character or at least don't annoy me so much I can't listen (One Piece's Luffy for example).

Thus if there is a good job in English, I'll perfer that most of the time over other languages.

Dubs in other languages are fine as well.
Akko-chan's Secret for example in Chinese is great, as is Spanish for a fair number of movies and series.

To each their own of course.

There are also the dubs that some people say are better than the original Japanese. Most of my friends say they like the Bebop dub more than the original Japanese. And though I haven't really seen EVA in Japanese, I saw a clip of Asuka speaking German and it was more believable in the dub.
i also heard that trigun was better in the dub as well. i also heard that the naruto dub isn't that bad compared to the original.

When it comes to Bleach, I prefer reading the manga. It is a great show, but fillers ruin series for me. Im all about Naruto, Bleach, Prince of Tennis (probably the only one), Black Cat, Eyeshield 21.

My buddies who are into it hate that vampire arc as well. Myself, not that much into it, but I like the theme song, Ichirin no Hana.

Anime pwns. One of the 3 greatest things ever made. I'll be starting up my BOFA polls soon in the poll section. Come check it out.

Quick question though. What were all the dub series of Zoids brought over from Japan?

Chaotic Century and Guardian Force, though they were put under the same title of the former over here. Fuzors, and I don't know the name of the one just called Zoids that was with some kinds of contests.

Yeah... I have a problem with anime that uses a lot of CG in their shows/movies.

More times than not, it just looks like a mess, and it completely takes me out of the story. Thank GAWD they didn't use too much for the Archangel in Gundam Seed. I woulda been hella pissed.

The way it was done in the Zoids series was pretty good, the way it's done in the newer TF series kinda sucks.

I pat you on the back and salute you! Support the anime industry! Buy the DVDS!

For me right now, I'm watching Bubblegum Crisis Tokyo 2040, only 2 more eps to go.

Here's an interesting tidbit I learned earlier, both Priss and Sakaki from Azumanga Daioh are voiced by the same person in the Japanese and English language versions. Yuu Asakawa voices them in Japanese, while Christine Auten does them in the dub.

Whaddaya know? I'm exactly the oposite. I'd rather watch a dub than a sub. And One Piece is crappy regardless of the language or localization.

Lots of times, things like that happens. For example, the Japanese voice of boy-Ranma also did Inuyasha and the 2nd English voice of Boy-Ranma also did Inuyasha. Because of that, lots of times, when new shows are coming to the States, people want them to be done by the dub actor who did the character in a dub that the Japanese actor did. It however doesn't quite work if the Japanese VA is female, the dub VA is male and the show has the Japanese VA playing a male female role.
