Without delving too much into the story... yes a very good explanation as to why Fusion Zamasu looks that way.

I need to keep in mind this is a toyline for Super and not Z. It's an unfortunate "no sale" on Future Trunks... unless that's the only way I can get a Super Saiyan/2 head for a potential Z Future Trunks. That throws my Z wish list in the trash outside of Piccolo and single bang Gohan.

Goku Black is a guarantee if Fused Zamasu's here. Just a matter of if it'll be Super Saiyan Rose or not. Reusing a regular Goku head only gets you so far.

Resurrection 'F' outfit Blue Vegeta, Whis, and Golden Frieza make sense for inclusion though they might go with regular Zamasu. Hit being in could mean Champa or Frost but those two scream shelfwarmers.

They definitely need to do Super Saiyan God Goku sooner than later.

I'll definitely grab that Fusion Zamasu if Figuarts doesn't go for it. Same goes for Hit (though I'm holding off for a Figuarts version of both). Now if they could do some of the slightly more obscure and "definitely not getting a Figuarts" characters, I'd be all in. Fusion Zamasu feels a contender for that spot but I'm slightly optimistic about a Figuarts version. If they go all-in for the Tournament of Power, there are plenty of characters who I don't expect Figuarts for so I'll be grabbing whoever comes out once those waves start.

Fuck. Yes. This line is going exactly where I wanted it to! I am so hyped for the next wave! Looking at him again, Super Saiyan Blue Goku looks to have an entirely new head, instead of reusing the regular SS head. I think the face looks much improved.

Damn, that's a really nice display Taichi! At first I didn't have a need to mix these with Figuarts, but with Hit, Zamasu, and new Future Trunks coming out, I'm going to have to find room in my Figuarts collection to fit these.

I almost wouldn't be surprised to see them venture into classic Dragonball Z characters as well if this line does well enough. I'd really like to see that be the case, as a more affordable alternative to the Figuarts line.

Yeah, I'd also kill for a highly articulated Piccolo with removable hat and cape that also has show accurate colors. I also just want a Jiren to stand on my desk and look menacing.

So far the line seems to be doing well around me, most stores around me only have one or two figures left on the shelves.

That FigureRise SSB Goku looks legit. I've seen the kit for him, Android 17, 18 and Perfect Cell at my Barnes & Noble. I may just have to pick them up.

I'd absolutely die for that Piccolo.

The line seems to be doing well around my parts too. My Toys "R" Us and Super Target have already placed second orders for the Wave 1 figures. I think most people aren't aware that Wave 2 has already hit Walgreen's stores though as plenty of the one's I've checked have them on their shelves yet.

I would be all over Z figures as there are characters I'd only buy in their Z outfits like say... 17 and 18. It's why I'm passing on Future Trunks. Original jacket and sword or no deal.

Piccolo and Mystic Gohan are my realistic wants. They can double as Z figures since their designs are the same in Super. They could to a "clean forehead" Gohan but I think most prefer him with the single bang if they don't do Super Saiyan. Or plot twist: tracksuit Gohan.

Just spotted the protos for Dragon Stars series 3 and 4:

I'd say Blue Vegeta and especially Goku look even better than their Figuarts.

I guess fused Zamasu is confirmed as the build a figure then. Bit of a shame for anyone who wanted a pre-mutated version though.

Also a shame that Black doesn't have a regular head or energy blade accessory but they deemed Zamasu worthy of one.

It just makes me wonder if they even have plans to do alternate heads for those who most likely wouldn't get a second figure in the line or if they just went with the cooler head which seems to be the case for Black and Trunks. Regular Goku head without an earring will have to do for the time being.

The blue on Goku's hair looks fantastic.

Daaaammmnn! They look great!

And I'll say it again, if there’s one thing that American figures have done well, for the most part, over Japan... is hair.

How is it possible that they continue to get these so right and still continue to drop the ball on Legacy Ranger Figures?

Excited for these figures, but Vegeta appears to have some really weird proportions and joints; his hip joints, at least, look bizarre.

Eh, they look like they’ve posed the legs farther out than they should. Usually those fit up inside the lower section, not flared that far out.

I mean... between Japan and American, neither on can get the Rangers right. I never was a huge fan of the Figuarts either. Most were good, and at the end they did start getting really good... but odd proportions, the weird front vest thing, long necks on the Go-Busters, not painted joints on the Boukenger.... they seem to have a mess on both sides.

But I completely agree, these look like they jumped out of the show.
