This wasn't dirt cheap by a long shot, just on clearance, but there's a ton of leftover parts anyways.

Presenting the little-known Proto-Banshee, built straight from Unicorn-01 parts to create a base for testing out the new Psyco-frame. Unfortunately it got sent back to the drawing board when the beam bazooka ran out, forcing the pilot to unconsciously bludgeon the opponents over the head with it. Sigh. Fun times.

They look REALLY good. I'm loving the paint job you've put on it Though...

The small flag that's attached to the front of the Gokai Galleon, you can move and attach it to one of the two swords when it's in Megazord mode.
Thanks! Right...was wondering to myself how weird it looked being only on one side. lol. Forgot it did that. Haha

It's been a while but I completed another set! This time its Gokai-Oh and took about a week to finish.

Still have the Pat Stiker, Magi Dragon and the Gaolion to build and paint. Might try to track down a reasonably priced Shinken-Oh set on Mandarake in the future.
I'm not familiar with this. Is this a toy that comes unpainted? Regardless of what it is, may I add, you are obviously very talented. ^_^

Pretty proud I (mostly) have these finished. I still have some additional paint to touch up and maybe add some more helmet detail, but I think it shows well enough for a progress/completion picture set. Yellow still needs the most touch ups as far as I am concerned. But now I can happily say I have a set of figures to represent what is my personal favorite Sentai.

Edit: Red was done a LONG time ago, and since I have become much better at sculpture, so everyone else looks better as far as their chest is concerned. Turns out the painted details look better than sculpting for some areas.

These are fantastic custom figures. Some of the best customs I've seen. I'm actually surprised you haven't created duplicates of the entire set and sold them on to Power Rangers collectors on eBay. They literally look like the real deal. Keep up the good work.

BTW, do you guys know if there exists any material to cover a part of a figure I want to maintain its real color, so I can spray the rest?
Like some gel or whatever. Like when you get a face peeling and the cream is gel and then transforms into something u can peel off easily lol

Try scotch tape. that way you can still see it and it won't allow the paint to bleed through. You would have to seal around the tape really well to make sure there are no air bubbles.

Ok. And how do I open a Dino Charge figure? I could pop out booots and gloves, but can't see how to open chest or take out neck/helmet

Speaking from experience - Just grab an exacto knife, try to cut where the seam-line for the figure is, then grab something that's really strong like a crowbar, wedge it into a good part of the seam-line, and then PUSH FOR DEAR LIFE!

I'm not kidding - It took an immense amount of force in order to snap the figure apart.

I don't know if this would be for this forum or the Dino Charge thread, but does any one have a good paint color recommendation for each Dino Charge zord's main color? I haven't seen any in the thread, but maybe I missed it.

I have been accenting them with silver sharpie but got some on the main color and wanted to cover with a similar colored sharpie but it still stands out. Thanks in advance
Just use a qtip dabbed with rubbing alcohol.

These are from the minipla line. If you are familiar with Gunpla kits, it's the same concept. These just come with stickers, that for the most part make it look pretty cool. Some people go above and beyond and add paint to make them more show accurate. These kits have more articulation than the DX versions of the toys but are far smaller and don't have sounds. There is a guy on here that takes these and paints them completely and they are freaking AMAZING.

Check out his tumblr: http://superprototype.tumblr.com/pos...ai-very-behind

He's got another blog, IIRC, with his Kyoryuger/Dino Charge customized miniplas. His earlier stuff is in the earlier pages of this thread.

Looking great Nirn!!! Man, I'm stoked to see more!

So I finally made a new wrist strap for my Ginga Brace. Same style of leather used in the show, adhesive Velcro that sticks, really, really well, and the silver is cut vinyl I did here at the shop. I'm so happy to have something that looks like the show!!! My spacing is a tad off compared to the original, but I'm happy.

Need to finish some details.
The thing is, I used acrylics but always got darker and never got the right color.

Here I used spray paint, and is similar to Kendall but not the same, but it's the best I can do.
Sad thing is, when I boiled the figure to try to dismantle it, it seems the plastic got weird, and the spray is mate in the parts that I boiled, but shiny where I didn't.
So tomorrow I will add a gloss spray and see the results...

Thanks guys. I was surprised nobody had made a custom male purple with the BOA figures yet.
The same when I realized nobody had made the full SPD A-Squad team figures, so I had to haha
Gotta create Kat and Nova but I prefer comission them to somebody who creates amazing customs. If you known about any, please let me know.

I'm looking forward to seeing the Kat and Nova Rangers once they're done. Your SPD A-Squad Rangers are so realistic, I'm surprised you haven't made multiples of the team and sell them off to collectors on eBay or on here.

I know 80s sentai things do not catch attention but I painted this.

Before

After. I'm a big fan of Yellow Four so I decided to change a extra Red 1 mask I had.
