It's not that he was interested in being a teacher.

It's that way too much happened between Turbo and Dino Thunder to be believable.
Oh don't get me wrong I'm not defending the decision to make Tommy a doctor of paleontology in such a short amount of time. Just saying giving MMPR era characters new interests out of nowhere isn't that surprising. Hell Tommy was also interested in Mythology for a hot second just so Lord Zedd could create Robo-Goat and then it's never mentioned again.

Dimensions in Danger only would have been better if Tommy wasn't there because JDF's ego is too inflated to allow airtime to anyone but himself.
Shit, it even got a point where Tommy was being thanked for what other rangers did. Wes and Gemma saved all of the other rangers who were captured by Drayven, and what was the first thing any of them do after that?

"Thanks Tommy"

That's more than enough Tommy Talk guys. Discuss this episode or find one of the million other threads about Tommy to hash it out over.

SPD and JF are great thank you very much.

I disagree. SPD is trash. Probably one of my least favorite seasons of the show.

Jungle Fury is basically what Beast Morphers is now: it has its share of problems, but compared to the seasons before it it's mostly inoffensive.

Episode 6 Review - Let's Rocket!

Nice reference to NASADA (space program) from Turbo and Space!
An interesting throwback from previous seasons.
I like how this season have strong continuity, where this episode takes place after the previous, where Nate is developing a Gigatron Warning System, from Gigatron they captured (whole) from previous episode.
I also forgot to mention that X-Bike from episode 3 were briefly shown previous episode as well.

Ben and Betty schtick was OK.
Thatís one heck of a rocket if it can blast both in the air. lol
Itís nice that they reported to HQ immediately when they spotted Roxy.

Not surprised that Gigatron that ranger captured was going to used for something this episode (bomb!).
Grid Battleforce really should have thought closely before taking the ENEMY robots back to hangar; they could have disassembled FIRST then assemble at the base.
I understand they wanted to study it as WHOLE, but still minor nitpick.

Interesting to see "Scrozzleís Shopping SpreeĒ during the mayhem at hangar.
Nice to see him stealing all sorts of parts and materials, including Beet J Stag/Silver Ranger head, which I did not see it coming (it was also shown briefly in previous episode).
Iím curious how Stag would turn out once Scrozzle finishes it.
I like how Scrozzle is resourceful and have more allegiance towards Evox than Blaze and Roxy.
Itís interesting to see there are split among enemies; Blaze/Roxy (Original Candidates for Rangers) and Evox/Scrozzle (non-human PR exclusive villains).

As for teamwork aspects, I felt it was kind of bit weird and weak. It felt bit forced and contrived, since theyíve been good team so far (certainly have better teamwork than most of previous seasons).
Devon being frustrated was odd, since he was never meant to be leader.
It was nice to hear Commanderís Shaw advice being more useful than previous episodes.

Overall, I thought this episode was good.
While I didnít care too much about teamwork plot, I was more interested with villain (Scrozzle) plot than ranger, which is kind of interesting to see in Power Rangers these days, where most of villains were forgettable and useless.
Looking forward to see how J turns out.

4/5 Rockets
(or 3.5/5 to be precise; had it not been for " Scrozzle's Shopping Spree" it would have been 3).

This episode is one of the good one. Red has to learn to trust his teammates in this one. He finally learn to trust them at last to create a Megazord. I can't wait to see what happen next.

Honestly, this episode was mediocre at best. I do see some egotistical traits from Devon, which I expect such crap from Blaze. Ben and Betty were adorable as usual and my only concern is. Nate actually carries around tubes of Morph X. Still trying to wrap that around my head.

I enjoyed it for the most part. It made sense that Devon's used to trusting his instincts. It seems to have worked so far. Although, why are we getting two Devon focus episodes in a row? Seems like it should've been spaced out more. I did think the rocket plot was kinda lame. And there was more Ben and Betty than usual too. I know they're trying to make them seem useful at least but their involvement always brings the momentum to halt with all the predictable Looney Tunes jokes crammed in.

It was nice to see them form the Megazord. I applaud them for going this long without it. So Scrozzle stole the Silver Ranger's head? I wonder how that's gonna go. And it looks like Nate has a way to detect the Gigadrone launches now. It's nice to see the story slowly progressing.

I have no problem with Nate keeping Morph-X at his workstations. What I do have a problem with is that he doesn't lock that shit in a drawer or something?

Does Grid Battleforce even check inventory and who uses what for what?

Nate takes a little off the top doesn't he? Sneaky sneaky.

Grid Battleforce doesn't even bother hiding and securing the entrances to their hangars full of important equipment and stolen enemy vehicles (*gasp* A steel door!). Of course they don't keep tabs on who's stealing what.

^ The Security Entrances really should had been really hiding out, imagine if Evox could had make a huge attack with the Gigatrons, if he get a huge amoung of Morph-X !!!

In the case of LSR they get the Aquabase underwater well they know the Demons dont tolerated water

They should've built it underwater.

Now I want a scene where B&B are throwing dirt and branches over the giant hangar doors and Shaw gets all mad wondering what they're doing. Then they just respond that after the last time(this episode), they figured it'd be better to try and camouflage the hangar, haha!

As for cataloguing Morph-X and all...eh we don't really know how it works. Clearly the rangers can't just take a container to a morph-x fountain and fill'er up. I'm sure Nate is allowed some allotment or can get some, but no doubt they still keep track.

Aside from the weird and unnecessary instincts plot point, this was a perfect episode. Logical villain motivation, splitting up for a strategic reason, incredible foreshadowing with the robot head, Ben and Betty contributed to the story, and the Rangers helped Ben and Betty at the end. We even fulfill the toy aspect by debuting the Megazord, and having no cringeworthy lines or puns during a fight hasn't happened since the Disney years.

I absolutely loved it.

Considering they let a virus essentially create evil twins of two of the cadets, have a hangar door in the middle of the forest, have said hangar door be easily found by Roxy, and let Scrozzle go in, steal a few parts, and go out with no problem, I think itís safe to assume that GBís security is nonexistent

I think we knew that in the first episode when a picture of a badge on someone's phone is enough to get them in the building.

The rangers have finally formed their Megazord and it was worth the wait. Their team leader is also continuing to learn new things every day.
