Because the people behind it are still passionate about it, i.e. Warburton.

And TV is finally at an a la carte enough place to where they stand a chance of surviving now.

The reboot will be darker and more grounded.

Jesus...
I swear I am going to pitch a series called "Dark, Gritty and Grounded"...not even going to have anything thought up about what the series will be about. I will just repeat the three buzzwords and watch them throw money at me.

The hell? If you make The Tick serious, the whole point of The Tick is lost.

It's too early for April Fools'... ;__;

Jackie Earle Haley, best known to comic fans as Rorschach, has been cast as The Terror.

So, it premieres August 19. I will be sure to remember that. This might just be what I need to watch after a long day of work.

Patrick Warburton was perfect. He had the build(padded or not padded)

This is too form fitting. It's like " side-kick Tick"

The more I hear about this show, the more I see, I find less and less to enjoy.

Jackie Earle Haley is the only thing giving me hope at this point.

Wasn't the whole point of the Tick to be a parody of superheroes? Dark, gritty and grounded the Tick isn't. The Tick was supposed to be funny, lighthearted an funny. No Patrick Warburton either? My interest on this is waning big time.
