I didn't realise the guy's name was Sim.

So we had Doctor Simeon in The Snowmen who came back for the Series Finale, and now we've got a Doctor Sim who's death implies that The Shoal of the Winter Harmony are coming back.

Or maybe Moffatt just likes the sound of 'Sim'.

That's a steep drop... either people were only watching for Capaldi or they didn't realise it was a double bill.

I really think episode 1 shouldn't have had Capaldi's name in the OP. It spoils the fact that the Doctor shows up, which would've been annoying for anyone who didn't already know. Funny thing is, his credit was bigger than the main cast's in the end credits as well.

Region locked? That's strange. Kaizoku Sentai Doctor Who. It's a Gokaiger OP done using Doctor Who footage.

Yeah, when I click on it, it says it contains footage from Columbia, and cannot be viewed, here.

Columbia don't own the footage. They DO own the soundtrack though, as that's the record label Sentai music is released on. Strange that the video wasn't outright taken down.

I wanted to update my flight control TARDIS interior. I'm probably not using the right search terms. I can't find any good pictures.

I was wondering if someone can direct me to the right place for pictures. I know Galifreybase forums have a thread but I can't it.

I thought about using this

Good news. I remember when the Doctor Who Classic Comics line reprinted Sub-Zero and many more Countdown strips way back in the 90s.

Speaking of comics, bad news. Issue 15 of Tales from the TARDIS wasn't in my local WHSmith yesterday (it should have been out the day before, instead I found three copies of the previous issue), and I'm not the only one on Gallifrey Base making that complaint. Titan haven't updated their website either, which is unusual. Someone did say they had the new issue though... and that it says issue 16 is out on 30 March, not 9 February like it was expected to be - an 11 week gap. So apparently the frequency has been reduced from four weekly (13 issues a year) to either every two months or quarterly (4-6 issues a year). I think it'll be cancelled soon and may not complete the Year Two stories.

Katherine Kelly (Miss Quill from Class) has had a baby - three months ago. She must've been pregnant when filming the show!
Here she is. Our little Rose 🌹 Miss Quill really was having a baby! 😳

The Daily Mail have been particulary scathing of both Doctor Who and Sherlock following lst night's transmission of "The Final Problem"

Gatiss and Moffat may just have done what Moriarty never could, and finished off the marvellous character of Sherlock Holmes.

They've got form * making Doctor Who all but unwatchable. In their hands, a cult children's show was turned into an in-joke for the kind of people who think they are too bright to watch TV. As a result, Doctor Who lost its audience. Aside from Christmas specials, it has been off our screens for more than a year, and no one has missed it

As much as I'[m not a fan of Moffat's in-jokiness, "too smart to watch tv"? what?

I suppose though, to someone who reads or writes the daily mail, anyone smart enough to string a sentence together probably seems like an intellectual to them.

Apparently on GB, a source who correctly reported on findings of Enemy, Web and the animation of Power, reckons that the Celestial Toymaker has been found
