There's talk of Aiden Turner from "Being Human" and "Poldark"

Aidan Turner ([The Hobbit) reported flew out to L.A to have further talks about taking over from Craig as Bond in March.

http://www.nme.com/filmandtv/news/ai...next-ja/402357

EDIT: Reportedly Craig hasn't made a decision yet

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/live/enter..._variant=nonjs

Daniel Craig hasn’t yet decided on whether he wants to do another Bond movie. Reports in the past 24 hours have suggested that the actor, who’s starred in four 007 movies, has turned down a deal to make any more films in the series.

But separate, authoritative Bond sources have independently confirmed to BBC News that Craig hasn’t made any decision about his future as 007, and that “no decision is likely to be made for a while”.

Black actress Noma Dumezweni was cast as Hermione Granger in the London theater production of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, which opens July 30, 2016 at the Palace Theatre, London. J.K. Rowling endorsed the decision.

Regardless of race, a skilled actor can make a role his own and win over an audience.

...No? Don't be a dick. Hardy just isn't Bond. Bond is supposed to be suave, sleek, and Hardy is not that. Hardy is a fine actor, he's just not James Bond. Whether you like Hiddleston or not, he's still a much better fit for the character than Mad Max is.

I also think Hardy could pull it off, but I do like Hiddleston better.

He does mostly voice over work when the only two most noticeable live action stuff is Sherlock Holmes & Khan &he may or may not put Doctor Strange on the map how is he in everything when he is majority a voice over guy ? He might be fan cast for everything but he mostly voices animated characters lol

...You realize that a voice role is still a movie role, right? That... doesn't negate him being in a lot of things.

I thought they were going to do a reboot/spin-off with the mother of James Bond being the previous 007, with someone new & connect with the female M being his mother?

As for Cumberpatch, no, I'd love for a new established Bond, & then make a cross-over movie between Bond & the Sherlock show.

You sort of proved his point. You really didn't dig into your reasoning there.

I reckon they'll either put James Bond on hold for a while or at the same time as making james bond films, they'll make a live action version of James Bond Jnr for cinema for teenagers and younger children. Similar to an Agent Cody Banks sort of film with child actors

That would be cool. Yes I'm serious. I'm watching you Fry with those narrow eyes.

I'll watch it. Shoot, you can make him the previous 007 who passes the mantle over to Bond, and then dies......only to become more powerful than you can ever imag-he's dead.

But he'll leave his mark on James. Forever.

(I can imagine it now: "Dun dun dun-ZWOOOM! BANG! The 007's slice the audience with a lightsaber followed by a pistol.)

I'm not a fan of the Bond series, but I agree with Peter. I see Hardy as a much better Bond than Hiddleston.

From the range that Hardy has shown he can definitely do suave, sleek and classy. It's called acting, and he's phenomenal at it. As brought up, his role in Inception had elements of Bond to it, the voice, the mannerisms etc so those who can't see him as Bond should rewatch Inception, instead of Legend (Anti-Bond), Revenant (Bond villain), or Mad Max (Silent Bond).

Hiddleston is a great actor, don't get me wrong, but there's something too..."fresh" about him. I struggle to envision him saying "The name's Bond. James Bond." without it feeling off, but Hardy I can picture a lot easier.

Eh.. It at least makes sense with Dr. Who or Link in the Legend of Zelda. They're characters who change/regenerate with each appearance and are never supposed to be the same person. Making them female makes sense and is inevitable, no matter how much certain fans kick and scream.

I'll always argue for better roles for women in movies like this, but I don't think actually making Bond a woman would be a good idea. Even if he's been portrayed differently over the years, he's still supposed to be James Bond.

Without going MCU crazy, I'd like it if the "Bond girl" was a "00" girl and got her own movie after, instead of calling her James. I feel like James Bond can have a female counterpart that's similar without having to actually call her James. That would be fun to watch.

Does giving Bond an agent to work with break something or can they do that?

I'm probably going to get Hell for this, but I'd like to see Henry Cavill as Bond. He did a good job in Man from U.N.C.L.E. playing a Bond-like character IMO, and that's been on my mind ever since I saw that movie. Plus Cavill wants to play Bond.
