Chicago Fire, PD and Med discussion Thread

Hello, everyone. I was wondering if you guys watch all three different shows in the same place, Chicago. Personally, my favorite shows are Fire and PD. Chicago Med is ok for me.

So is anyone watching Chicago Fire right now? Power Rangers SPD's Brandon Jay McLaren is the guest appearance in this episode tonight since the previous episode.

What's your thought of three shows? Let's talk about this.:-)

I love Chicago PD. I think it is the strongest one out of the bunch (I might be bias to that because I am trying to get into law enforcement) and the character development is top notch compared to the rest. Also, they are adding a law side to the Chicago family, and the working title is, not surprising, Chicago Law.

Well he tried this a couple times with law and order la and trial by jury. If i were i'd stick to just these 3 shows and svu as your 4 babies a 5th show in the combined universe for at least me will be hard to follow. That being said the only one i watch consistent is pd. I tried fire but it felt like a primetime soap opera with firefighters/paramedics maybe it's gotten better but it just wasn't for me after watching the pilot

Even in their desire not to be preachy about the Black Lives Matter message, it still felt a little preachy. I loved how Voight squashed it immediately not with the typical all lives matter retort, but with the direct response that black lives do matter to him and his record already reflects that.

And can I ask what the hell is up with the hashtags lately? #Lingess last week, #LinsteadCar this week? Is there some dumb contest I never heard about or something?

I only watch P.D. religiously, thanks to Sophia Bush and Jason Beghe. But the comedic stylings of Burgess, Roman and Platt don't hurt at all.

I catch Fire occasionally, it's actually a pretty good show. Med I'm still not really feeling, but I've only seen one episode so far.

He turned down Cordelia Chase to get with Brooke Davis.

If only we could all be that lucky.

Damn, the line of bodies was long this week. And what a wimp of a crime boss, one of Voight's probably least intimidating monologues scares him out of town, when he was the one talking tough at HQ hours earlier?

And we've finally taken the very first step in the relationship we were all waiting for between Burgess and Roman. They have better chemistry than any two characters in the entire Chicago franchise, even if they just stay friends.

Finally, Burgess and Roman kissed. It's made even better by Ruzek being a jealous prick about it.

Damn, dude. Spoilers much!
Only kidding, I had a feeling after last week's episode they would hook up. Can't wait for the hell Ruzek is going to rain down on Roman.

roman just has to point out that he has actually GRADUATED from the police academy

i'm glad they suddenly remembered that during the end of the pot store storyline

said it else where when it happened & i'll say it again Elias Koteas (al) is the best casting PD did & one of the best in the franchise

this whole alderman thing on fire is stupid imo

Absolutely. He can do more with a look than some of the stars can with an entire storyline.

Wish he could have gotten a cameo in Out of the Shadows...

I only caught a little bit of the last episode, and it annoyed me that fast.

Come on, reporter, you know what he meant. Is it not common knowledge on Earth that politicians don't get a lot done? Meanwhile, the training his firefighters do actively save lives on a daily basis. I know the newsmedia has to press, but there are times where they're trying to be the bad guy, and that's spinning the story to suit your narrative, the very opposite of journalism.

not just that but like casey said in the ep he didn't want to do it in the first place everyone else pressured him into it dawson being the main strong arm why?
because she wants to get invitations to all the big fancy parties & hobnob with the rich people.

i'm afraid that the "now what?" & the look on casey's face when he said it was also what happened in the writer's room too

Yeah, koteas by far can steal episodes just with a look. I thought he was going to shoot that guy last night

Wow, when I turned Chicago Fire on tonight, I didn't expect to see Mauch and Platt's wedding. That was so cute.

Sylvie's stalker getting killed was sure convenient. What a waste of a storyline.

And leave it to Casey to be the only man on Earth upset that the gorgeous girl wants to keep their relationship exactly the way it is. Ugh.

when jimmy found brett's wallet & then the wound to the head me & my mom both said it really wasn't him that he killed a guy that looked like him to throw people off

i was disappointed too but also glad they didn't drag it out
at this point she should be used to having a gun pulled on her lol

also with the whole "wife" thing i'm surprised some reporter hasn't brought up them working & dating are against regulations heck i'm shocked the guy he was running against didn't do it

Way to underuse McLaren.

I really hope Russian is actually dying and not just assuming he is and making something out of nothing.

And political strategist becoming a homewrecker is far too obvious too fast.

Why do I want to believe the strategist had something to do with the bribe? It just seemed too easy to worm her way into Casey's life...

And of course the kid's mom dies just like she thought she would. And of course the kid gets the dog like we all guessed he would.

I have a feeling funny about the woman (forget her name) who went to see Casey few times.... I think she is a scam.

Poor kid, he lost his mom. That was emotional... wow.

I am still waiting for Chicago PD to get back on TV..... dammit.
