Hmm I haven't seen the stuff she's in but I heard of her. Maybe she'll be one of the two female members of the team.

Hoping to see more stuff on the film now.

Hoping to see some actual character sketches soon. I remember the comic book when it first came out (and the slightly more recent revamp), so I'm interested to see how they're adapting each character's look for the big screen.

The Disney Wiki page of said movie seems to be the closest thing we'll get to an updated site, so there's the stuff there. Though of course there a few things that are suspect.

Like is there really going to be a "Martin Lieber" in the movie?

"Hey, who's the Asian we got to play Mulan?"

"Ming-Na Wen."

"No, the new one, from that fairy tale show."

"Oh, you mean Jamie Chung?"

"Yeah, call her."

Consider yourself lucky, because it's all generally awful.

DragonBall Evolution, Sucker Punch, Believe...

...or usually TV shows. Remember that Samurai Girl show, based off a series of teen novels that she was the star in?

...

Of course you don't.

And now they've added Maya Rudolph. I'm happy about this because she's hilarious.

From of the few stuff I've seen of SNL, Maya Rudolph makes a good impression. So that's nice.

Keep the info train coming, Internet. We need to see stuff of this already with Frozen starting to wind down. Just an FYI, the numbers from last week show that Frozen still earned tons of money, but not quite enough to surpass Iron Man 3.

Why do I assume she'll be using her Glenda Goodwin voice?

Chung it seems will indeed voice one of the female members of the team. Specifically Go Go Tomago, described in the movie as being sporty, extremely competitive, and has a desire of always being number 1 with an authority problem.

Apparently that characterization is not that far off from her original comic persona, who was known as being the team hothead.

Figured they would attach the BH6 trailer to Maleficent. Hope to see it online at least when it comes out since I have no interest in Maleficent.

Well, I'll be seeing Maleficent next week so I'll let you know if my screening shows it. But it'll be out before the end of the week at least.

Wonder which Silver Samurai they'll use for this film? Also how will it affect the comics.

so the background of the pictures, it says something about Fransokyo Institute. does this comic take place in a city that's combined San Francisco and Tokyo?

Yup. In a fictionalized alternate world where Tokyo and San Francisco are crammed together.

Not too weird considering San Fran does have a huge Asian-American population, although I still think it's a little odd to mash two cities together...but whatevs.
