Seriously?
You do realize you're a fan of Power Rangers, right?

I absolutely love My Little Pony: FIM. It has extremely strong characterization, excellent humour, great animation, and amazing writing. I checked the show out after seeing TV Tropes gush about it, and before the first episode was over I was hooked.

You guys ever watch the "Friends" part that the original show had with it for other Hasbro/playskool properties? I remember two of them, "Glo Friends" and "Potato Head Kids" were ones you wouldn't get crap for watching if you were a boy back then. Moon-something you did.

"Moon Dreamers" was more sickeningly sweet that even the cutest "My Little Pony" episode.

The origianl My Little Pony tended to get a bit dark at times. "Escape From Midnight Castle" was pure nightmare fuel.

Have you seen the show? It's surprisingly good.
I loved the evil pony that was on there, though it does lack a bit of the charm of the original series, love the mod animation style of the show though

Dammit. You started talking about it, and I had to go watch. Now I'm going to wind up buying the core ponies and setting them up on my desk at work. They're so CUTE.

They made a Princess Celestia, but I'm hoping they'll make a Princess Luna, too. And I like Rainbow Dash the best. >.>

To be honest the pilot two-parter is different from the series itself outside of introducing characters and setting.

They also have a Spike figure, but he's only available in the 'special' sets (The five pack with Applejack, Twilight, Pinkie Pie and Celestia; and Twilight Sparkle's Hot Air Baloon playset).

That's what I'm looking at getting. Luckily, I have a 5-yr-old's birthday to shop for, so locking around the tout section at Walmart isn't quite so out of place.

I remember Spike from the original series. He was cool even then. And one of my friends is talking about pulling her old MLPs out of storage for me. Maybe I can even find my old ones...

Frakkin' brony, spreading your new addiction around...

(I'm sharing it, too. >;D My roommate's already into it, so I have to find someone else to show it to... but they're out there.)

Amusingly I do not identify as a Brony. The show is...at times enjoyable, but I cannot claim to be a fan of it. ...but its a fun show regardless and I can watch it. I'm friends with a serious brony though and am spreading the love if only for him.

However my favorite pony is Rarity. Make of this what you will.

Re: My Little Pony

I saw the term on deviantart and Tv Tropes, but it may just refer to the fans from /b/... Is he a really crazy brony?

And this is a great pic...

Well, keep in mind. I consider the term brony to apply to ALL fans of this show.

I'm...

Well I watch it WITH him, but I have yet to watch an episode by myself. Its not my kind of show...generally. Its well made though.

And yeah, he's a pretty dedicated brony.

Re: My Little Pony

I'm trying to figure out how much of my liking it is because I loved them as a kid, myself. And because I loved Powerpuff Girls, since one of the creators worked on it as well (and has admitted that part of the reason she did MLP:FiM is because she loved them as a kid as well).

Also, I have a deep and abiding love of tiny, cute, brightly-colored things. >.>

I had a mental breakdown and decided to buy the core 6 ponies tonight after I got off work, and set them on my desk. My computer is now protected by the power of friendship.

I have to admit, this series is pretty good. Lauren Faust does it again (I enjoyed her work on Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends, too).

After hearing of it in passing, I've finally actually discovered and started watching this show on YouTube, and I love it! Rarity is my favorite pony, she's beautiful and has a nice sense of fashion (for a pony living in a Sugar Bowl). I've only seen the first three episodes so far, but I look forward to watching more.

This isn't the first time I've liked girly things. Sailor Moon got me into anime, my DS Lite is pink, and I do enjoy playing as female characters in games.

I got the 5-pack with the molded hair. I'm in the process of repainting Princess Celestia (she's not pink, she's white with a pink outline - that makes her a much paler pink than the plastic is! >.>). I like the molded hair ones because they look the most like their show counterparts, but I'm going to have a godawful time finding Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy, and Rarity, though. It makes me sad. ;.;

But I have found entertainment! Let me share! Sharing is caring, etc. >.>
