See I saw the hulu version and it did not have that old Gaga sketch.

One thing I did notice was that she looks a lot like the 1st Becky on Roseanne. Once I saw it I couldn't unsee it.

The old Gaga sketch was probably my favorite. She did a great job all throughout, though! I hope we see her again soon.

Does anyone know what happened with Taran Killan's skit on Weekend Update? I didn't really get why he started laughing and said he misquoted himself.

It was an okay episode, but I feel like a lot of GaGa's sketches were "Its funny because it's Lady GaGa doing this part" not "it's just funny". That was a problem with Ed Norton's episode too. It seems to be a running problem with this year and it's lack of the big names in the cast and the number of writers turned featured players.
Really??? That's funny because I feel the absolute opposite. Gaga and Norton were two of the best hosts ever, in my opinion, especially Norton who showed an awesome range that most hosts don't.

I'm not sure but I got the impression he misread the prompter/cue card, by the time he realized it it was too late to go back.

Right, I was just wondering what that mistake might've been and if anyone knew. I didn't notice anything, other than the fact that the sentence maybe seemed shorter than it could've been.

That was an interesting dance Lady Gaga and R. Kelly were doing during Do What U Want...

I expected the age-old Fallon/JT combo to bring it, but they brought it hard. Timberlake's impression of Jimmy had me rolling, and Jimmy laughing at it made me uncontrollable.

And the real Barry Effin' Gibb! Honestly, how did this not happen until now?!

I would have thought he'd take it personal since all his other brothers are dead

Great episode! Not only the Fallon/JT combo, but they showcased every cast member in one way or another. There were plenty of ensemble sketches that showcased everyone's talents and the girls really got to shine!

Plus Madonna and real Barry Gibb :O! Amazing! Best episode all season!

There are two ways that he could have gone with it: either take it personally and not have a sense of humor, which, incidentally is how he's portrayed in the skit, or embrace it and use it as a way to celebrate the impact that him and his brothers had in music and culture, and in a way paying tribute to his brothers at the same time. Apparently, he chose the latter, which is great for him and us. It made for a funny moment, although I would've like to see him integrated into the skit a little bit more.

Okay, that one where the women are singing about getting it on in their childhood bedroom. It got really awkward when they started showing pictures of themselves as pre-teens.

I was disappointed the last time we got Jimmy and JT together on SNL, but this one made up for it.

When I first saw that they were doing something about the big bang theory I was hoping they would have at least one character from Community. There's gotta be sketch in there somewhere.

I was actually quite disappointed with how the last ep turned out. Their stuff on Fallon's show has been way better.

I can't be the only person that thinks that Keenan is over staying his welcome. I just never found him or his impersonations funny. The Family Feud skit jut seemed to drag.

The only skits that I liked during the night were some of the opening monologue, the girls music video, and the "Baby It's Cold Outside" sketch.

It's funny how opposite opinions can be. I thought the family feud sketch was way too short, I really wanted it to go on!
And I love Keenan. He's almost always the same character, but it's always funny. ESPECIALLY Politics Nation, that is just hilarious.

Actually, I used to agree, but he's really stepped up his game this season. Especially in his writing.

Yeah, we could have gotten more out of the NBC team.

Kenan writes for the show? What's he done?

I'm under the impression that for the most part, when a person is starring in a sketch, he or she wrote it.
For example, "What's up with dat" is written by Kenan, I'm pretty sure.

Wow I had no clue. I mean, it makes sense now that you say it but it's interesting.

The misses and I try to get SNL every now and then when we get the time. While some episodes are pretty terrible (looking at you Miley), I find that many of the skits are pretty hilarious. And anytime Justin Timberlake is on is always a good time.

That's the main reason I don't like Keenan. I feel like he's never grown past his All That days. There's no variety to his character. It's the same speech pattern, same expressions, same everything. It's somewhat the same reason that I almost don't like Will Ferrell outside of SNL.

Will Ferrell is very hit or miss with me, and I know a lot of people who don't plain like him. But at least he has his moments. I do agree that Keenan is pretty terrible. The other cast members are much more talented.
