Chapter 548 spoilers are out.

Everyone manages to board the escape ship however the Door of Justice will not open.

They are seiged by Marine ships and engage further battle.

They defeat most of the enemies when Jinbei says that actually...
Mister 2 is the only way that the door can be opened.

Mister 2 "I'll explain myself later after we get out the door"

Jinbei thinking but holding back his words: But if you do this you...

(cut to)

Mister 2 disguised as Poison man gives the order to open the Door of Justice.
The door opens and the ship proceeds towards the exit.

Jinbei couldn't hold back his words any more so he decides to call Mister 2 on the den den mushi.
(He knew from the beginning that Mister 2 was going to sacrifice himself for everyone else to escape)

Luffy is wailing wildly on the Den Den mushi to Mister 2.
They say their final farewells and the Door of Justice cruelly closes behind them.

The real Poison man appears inside Impel Down and approachs Mister 2.
Real Poison Man: What are your final words?

Mister 2 seems happy and ready to die.

Finish.

Arm, why can't they just make one collection of season 2 instead of confusing people like that. That's why I was so pissed when I got Prince of Tennis.

It's not confusing at all and they're not making one collection, because the "seasons" are too long.

BTW, I really don't like that they are randomly making up seasons that don't exist, they should have just called the DVDs voyages 1 - whatever

Well Funi is releasing One Piece, how Viz is releasing Naruto with 13 - 14 episodes. And add to the point that Season 2 is 90 episodes long (Episode 54 - 143). Most of us are not confused by this, since most anime series are being release like this now in Season Parts. Plus they are doing seasons by story arcs for example Season 1 = East Blue Saga, Season 2 = The Barqoue Works Saga, and Season 3 = Skypiea Saga, etc.

Just got August SJ magazine in the mail. Getting to see Luffy beat Crocodile in the manga much better than having watched 4Kids' version. Now to wait for Funimation to get to that point.

The sad thing is that Shoenen Jump is going to be fast fowarding to the current events in One Piece, once they finished Alabasta up. (since there is only 6 chapters left after Chapters 209 & 210). And that is going to confusion a lot of American readers since they are going to be skipping over 32 volumes worth of martial (which inculdes importants stuff like Jaya/Skypiea, the Davey Back Fights, Water 7/Enies Lobby, Thriller Bark, Shabody Archpeligo, Amazon Lily, and Impel Down just to get to the Marineford stuff (which from the looks of it will be starting in the next week or two.).

My copy of Season 2, First Voyage was shipped out today by overstock. It should be in the couple of days by UPS.

Yes, overstock.com does sell anime. Well knowing Viz they will release Volumes 23 - 54 bi monthly like they did to Yugioh, when they skipped the card game storylines just to get to the final arc of the series. Which was a stupid move as well.

Chapter 548 is out now. http://www.onemanga.com/One_Piece/548/01/

I will say I did end up crying at the end of the chapter. This is one of the reasons why Bon Clay is one of my favorite characters in the series.

Another great chapter. Once again, Bon-Chan gives the ultimate sacrifice for his friends. Here's hoping he somehow survives Magellan and comes back to see the Strawhats again. Maybe Blackbeard or Hancock will help him out? They are still at Impel Down, right?

Blackbeard, yes he still there at Impel Down after getting hit by Magellan's posion as he did his crew as well. For Hancock, she is at Marine HQ with the rest of the Shickibukai getting ready for the execution.

Probably once, Luffy's team get there, she is going to switch sides to help him on the rescue mission.

Just putting up the link for the stream (for the Dream 9 block *Dragon Ball Kai and One Piece*) up early. And remember Dream 9 starts in 20 minutes. Also a reminder, it might take a few minutes before 8 pm est, 7 pm central or after for the feed to be stablize (like what happen last week it took a few minutes after Dragon Ball Kai started for the stream to settled down.).

Looks like Funimation just begin dubbing Season 4 from what Chris Sabat (Zoro) said recently at a convention in Austurlia.

He said that they're somewhere possibly in the 4th season, but they must go by seasons different to the Japanese, cause otherwise that's still Alabasta. He said it was just before Franky where they are now, so I assume they're getting close to Water 7!!

And also the stream for Dream 9 (Dragon Ball Kai and One Piece) is working so enjoy tonights episodes of both shows.

Not too surprising, Remember how before the new box sets, DBZ seasons were grouped not by arc/saga but by how they aired on US tv with 6 seasons. (7 if you count the final 16 eps which aired later as a separate season.
