How are 100 lackluster episodes not enough?

Of all the shows that could be brought back, WHO GREENLIT A REVIVAL FOR THIS ONE?! Cartoon Network is already clogged with TTG, Total Drama whatever (I was never into that series in any of its iterations) and Gumball....so WHY in the name of all that's pure and good in the world is THIS waste of film being dragged out of Celluloid Hell to pollute the airwaves again?!

Keep in mind that Cartoon network did also approve for "Thundercats GO!" essentially, so yeah.. They don't care.

Who the hell is even running Cartoon Network these days, and how soon can we get 100,000 signatures so they and their cohorts are all fired and replaced with people who DO care?

Gumball's on his way out, though. I believe (unless they've already aired) that there's only a few unaired episodes left then that's it. CN's been slowly chipping away at the weekday airings over the last two months.

Some people who run DC Comics and WWE: Brain dead morons.

And it isn't like we don't have enough of these shows. Its like studios saw how FIM, Adventure Time and Steven Universe fared and said "Do more of that". Problem is they only looked at the surface and thought thats why they worked rather than go farther, which is why we end up with the crap we do now. This has been an issue in the industry for years and it kills genres most often than not.

The Great British Bake Off has been renewed for three more years on Channel 4, and a spin off, Junior Bake Off, has been picked up

I still wish we could get some of the cartoons from the 90s back on the air...stuff like Skeleton Warriors and the weekday Toonami block. Hell, I wish we still had Saturday morning cartoons on ABC, CBS, FOX and NBC. TV didn't feel like a chore to watch, back then....

...probably because the networks didn't fill the weekday schedules with crap and just tell everyone to "watch their favorites on the app".

(God, I feel old right now)

Given that Warner Media is currently on a restructuring phase, I do hope CN improves as a result of this since their current president is getting new role as part of the restructuring plus regardless of the upcoming ThunderCats Ho! cartoon, I'm glad that CN isn't airing the upcoming Johnny Test revival since that show was pretty much responsible for starting the network's dork age.

I didn't hate it. It wasn't a favorite, but I liked watching it when I was younger. I have no idea how it'd hold up now, but when I was a kid, it was alright.

But I still have no idea why they'd bring it back.

Kids' WB Johnny Test was a delightful Dexter's Lab ripoff.

Cartoon Network Johnny Test was a poorly-animated over-reliance on Johnny X.

And race episodes. Those damn annoying overdone race episodes.

Get ready to return to the Evergreen Forest! The 1980s worldwide hit, The Raccoons, is back and destined to attract a brand new fan base while hitting the happy nostalgia button of the original audience. And the familiar faces are back! Led by the enthusiastic, adventure-seeking Bert Raccoon, join aardvark best-friend Cedric and racoon pals Ralph and Melissa as they navigate Bertís carefree attitude, all the while staying on-top of the scheming tycoon, aardvark business man, Cyril Sneer.

Apparently this news broke in summer of 2018, I'm only now finding out about it. Figured it'd be worth putting it in here since it's still in development and it's slated for 2019. I'll make a seperate thread when there's new information.

The entire series is on Netflix currently to see if you still like it. And somewhere are (probably out of print) complete series sets.

What the fuck?! I LOVED The Raccoons, but I thought this show was cult as a mutha. I would never in a million years have expected a reboot.

But no matter what, it will be a failure if they don't have the rights to this:

I found a metal cover of that, it dropped an F bomb or two in it

Perhaps they should have used that version for Hobo With A Shotgun.

Following the death of Mike Thalassitis, the entire tenth series of Ex On The Beach has been pulled by MTV with no plans to air it

John Rhys Davies has confirmed that he and Jerry O'Connell are in talks with NBC to revive Sliders

For those that were complaining about Johnny Test being brought back, it's not going to be on Cartoon Network. It's getting a web series from WildBrain on YouTube.
