Maybe if they adapt
Toqger
they'll keep that aspect as a giant middle finger to everyone who hated Justin.

I hope they start using original villains and interesting mentors again. Or maybe go mentor-less.
I like Mick. In my opinion, he's the best mentor in the Neo-Saban Era.

Based on Snapchat posts from Rorrie and Jasmeet, the cast is flying out tonight. Iím certainly wishing them safe travels to NZ and that they get to really kill it for Beast Morphers. Hopefully we get a picture of them all together before they take off for Auckland. Itís only a matter of time before we start seeing behind the scenes stuff.

So I am still thinking about one rumor from Power Morphicon:

It was a news about 12/13-year-old character, who can be or not be the ranger...

I don't think it's about a gold ranger. Especially that J is confirmed to adapt as a silver ranger.

So... maybe they will use any of extra suits from "Doubutsu Sentai Go-Busters" movie? Or maybe totally exclusive american ranger? They already had to remake all ranger and monster suits, so they could also make a brand new ranger costume and use it for a few episodes.

What if that ranger is based on the Frog Zord seeing that it has been used a Power Morphicon pin?

I'm all for a new kid ranger character. Personally, I like the concept.

Also, Shota Taguchi was one of the best actors in his series despite being a kid. Good acting + good writting can do wonders.
Yeah, they just need a great actor, and something relatable about the character, and good situations to put them in and I think they can pull it off.

Can we really call Mick as a mentor, I mean he does advice rangers in their personal problems, but the one that helps them in their battles is mostly the Nexus Prism, although Mick does help in tech if needed (a mix of Kendall and Spencer, if you will).

I'm really hoping that they keep the Gold and Silver plot lines. I cant remember their names but essentially Silver was sucked into the internet before the series and he eventually escapes. I think he was a mentor or friend of the Blue Ranger.
That was the gold ranger, Masato Jin. Silver was his Buddyroid partner Beet J Stag.

A mentor is basically a teacher and Mick advises the Rangers. Also, he has helped create new weapons. I would still call him a mentor.

Sensai Watanabe wasn't the technition, but he advised the Ninja Storm Rangers.

Same goes for Captain Mitchell, Tommy, & Commander Krueger.

if we get Kyuranger in a couple years we'll be getting a kid Ranger anyway.

You don't even need that. Beetleborgs blew Turbo out in the ratings and that cast was all kids, it was the very reason Justin was ever an idea.

And Justin wasn't even as bad as people have painted him, the writers just had zero idea how to implement him into the team's lives properly and nobody liked the bowl cut. Blake's acting was no worse than everyone's else's bad acting.

Why do you say that? Sentai has done kids before but the American version still ends up being an adult. ie: MMPR White Ranger and Zeo Gold Ranger.

Kid Ranger concept predates the casting of Blake, his hiring wasn't the slap-dash fix people seem to assume -- the scenario where Levy sees Blake doing high-kicks and decides on the spot to rework PR -- that's just not how it went down.

Levy was pushing for kid Ranger during MMPR, but it was Beetleborgs which proved the concept.

Isn't the kid in Kyuranger very noticeably a child though?

I'd say Blake was even a better fighter than some of the adult cast lol

I think in show it's not that bad. That could be my bias in really wanting a woman for Skyblue.

Well, yeah. Dude was a freaking black belt, his credentials automatically make him a better fighter than everyone cast after him except Mike Chaturantabut and Dan Southworth.

The sad part is that the stunt choreographers never really brought that prowess out. Justin kept getting limited to a bunch of lame stomping moves.

Kid fighting is probably a liability. Drew's actor on BB was also accomplished at martial artist, based on BTS video of him with the stunties, but those skills weren't applied to the show.

It was a hugely missed opportunity. The kid had skill and acting chops. But the concept was the problem for audiences.

Justinís focus episodes in the first half (The Whole Lie, Alarmed and Dangerous, Rally Ranger, bicycle built for blues) were complete ass.

His focus eps in the second half (Robot Rangers, Little Strong man) were quite good

I think Blake wasn't allowed much fight scenes not just because the TV network thing but maybe because child labor laws or something like that. I mean, imagine if he got injuried?

I think I recall Thuy hurting her ankle and Andrew Gray having problems on his neck (or something like that) while recording

Do you have the link for these videos? I'd like to check them out for myself, if possible.
