Young Justice Animated Series: Season 3 on DC Digital

Young Justice - In Young Justice, being a teenager means proving yourself over and over*to peers, parents, teachers, mentors and, ultimately, to yourself. But what if youíre not just a normal teenager? What if youíre a teenage super hero? Are you ready to join the ranks of the great heroes and prove youíre worthy of the Justice League? Thatís exactly what the members of Young Justice * Robin, Aqualad, Kid Flash, Superboy, Miss Martian and Artemis*will find out, whether they have what it takes to be a proven hero. This all-new series is produced by Warner Bros. Animation and based upon characters from DC Comics.

Sam Register (Teen Titans, Ben 10, Batman: The Brave and the Bold) is the executive producer. Brandon Vietti (Batman: Under the Red Hood, Superman Doomsday, The Batman) and Greg Weisman (Gargoyles, The Spectacular Spider-Man, W.I.T.C.H.) are the producers.

nice to hear greg weisman is moving on to another animated show. i hope he does as good as a job he did with spider-man with this young justice show for dc. I was holding a little hope he could get invovled with the Ultimate spidey show on its way. But maybe he could still at least maybe write an episode or two of it. Cant wait to see how this young justice toon turns out.

My concern is Wiesman always plans five years in advance before he gets to work, I can't forgive Disney for depriving us of his five year plan for Spidey

Why's Robin in this? This isn't Teen Titans. And I suppose Clark is going to be called The Blur since he's wearing black. Total FUBAR.

This Young Justice thing sounds like DC is trying to 1-up Marvel with their success of the Young Avengers(Well, it's successful around here anyway, not sure nationally)

No. It's Young Justice. A comic series that was released in the late 90s/early 00s starring the proteges of many of the heroes. Superboy, Robin, Wonder Girl (who due to legal red tape involving other projects can't be in this show), Arrowette (called Artemis in this version), Impulse (Kid Flash here) and the ghostly Secret as a team that fought evil and had fun.

This series is loosely based on said comic.

It's not likely. He's still Marvel based these days.

Though a funny story, see, his run on the original Young Justice comics convinced Warner Bros to have him pitch an animated series. Said series after a bazillion rewrites by others turned into the Teen Titans cartoon. Which got his comic canceled so they could relaunch Teen Titans to coincide with it.

Fun times.

Given how much they went for the Wolfman/Perez NTT era, I wouldn't be sure that any of PAD's ideas survived past the first draft or two.

Yeah. Probably nothing other than the fun loving attitude survived.

Oh, I guess this is what Greg Cipes was talking about when he said the Teen Titans was returning. I hope this is like a spiritual sequel. I love my TT's.

I say they are using Tim Drake the third Robin and I am glad because in the comic Tim was Robin in Young Justice while Dick grayson is Nightwing.

I read a comic whch involved Young Justice teaming up with Starfire to help Raven from being sacrificed by the new Brother Blood. That was epic, but it was a Teen Titan comic. I think it was called Paradise Lost?
