Yeah, I'd say that, if anything is going to be connected outside of the CW shows (and that's still a REALLY big "if"), it's much more likely that Arrow/Flash will connect with Supergirl given the parental connection and Guggenheim being behind it. But Titans has the more direct connection to the Arrowverse, with Roy, Deathstroke, and potentially Wally by extension.

He's just guessing. I doubt it would take THAT long, personally. This isn't a movie.

People do need to realize shit takes time, though. Nerds and producers alike.

"OMG! It was announced today! I want to see it tomorrow!"

yeah i'm not saying it's gonna take that long it's just that it could
& personally i would prefer they take their time to get it right instead of rushing it out to get it in for '15 season even mid season

for instance
arrow started filming this season at the end of july
so they have a little over a year to get:
producers, writers, set people, cast, a pilot script, a show bible/plan
effects studio, a city to film it in. shoot the pilot, air the the pilot, get it picked up, make any changes that need to be made, start first season filming.

Given TNT's typical production "schedule" with its shows, I wouldn't be surprised if this doesn't make it to air until 2016.

Even then, that's only IF the show actually makes it to series.

Unlikely the show was described as close to pilot order which would put it around the fall of 2015 schedule but this is TNT who does have a summer block so anything is possible.

Well yeah, I'm talking like Spring 2016 to air through summer 2016. That's not really unlikely. Again - TNT.

Looks like TNT has officially ordered a pilot.

Seemed like kind of a given but good to have confirmation.

Though December is a weird spot. Does "next year" mean 2015, or like 2016, as in "It's December, close enough to the new year"?

I'd assume 2015, but that comment just sticks out to me.

No, it's 2014. "Next year" means just that, next year - sometime in 2015.

Or he's saying "It's close enough to 2015, I mean 2016".

But that makes less sense.

If he meant 2016, he would have said "in 2016". You're over-thinking it for no reason at all.

Or you could just tweet him and ask if he meant 2015 if you're that concerned about it. He'll respond.

Nerdist has gotten ahold of the pilot script and is revealing details about the show, including the team lineup.

Nightwing - Still using his Robin identity in the current draft. He becomes a private detective in Boston after his fallout with Batman.

Batgirl (Barbara Gordon) - Wheelchair bound and the team's resident Felicity.

Hawk and Dove (Dawn Granger version).

Raven (Rachael Roth version).

Starfire.

No Beast Boy or Cyborg in the script.

Didn't know Raven was another legacy name (not that I have much DC knowledge anyway). Will have to look into Rachael unless you don't mind giving a quick summary. Or is she the one in the current comic? I saw a cover with a very different-looking Raven.

Sounds pretty awesome otherwise. Amusing that they're almost all named after birds, and I don't know many of them (well I know of Batgirl), so it should be fun to experience them for the first time in this. I suppose there's the chance of Beast Boy showing up down the line, but I don't mind his absence at the moment, especially with the previously discussed difficulties in using his powers in a live-action TV series.

Wow, four women in the initial lineup? Good on TNT then.
