I like it too. Just didn't see it with Adam and Teela though. They seemed too much like brother and sister to me.
From what I read the He-ro series planned for Adam and Teele to get together as man and wife, have you ever considered something happened that caused Adam an Teele to be together, an you can bet Teele secretly knew Adam's secret but did reveal it! Also it true two friends can have feelings for one another but just cant tell one another how they feel! Look at Ron Stoppable and Kim Possible as example!

Well Superman getting violently stabbed in the heart is a perfect metaphor for New 52

At work yesterday, saw the box for the Snake Mountain playset. Thought it was cool, even though I preferred the look it had in both the original and 2002 series over its toy. The toy set didn't look that much snake-like to it despite the name.

I need to revisit this show someday. Maybe in the spring after I've gotten through my Power Ranger sets I'll start re-watching He-Man and She-Ra a little each day.

Was doing that with She-Ra some months ago. While watching it, noticed that Bow had quite a thing for her, which made me wonder with all the gay jokes folks made about him, were guys not noticing that, or just taking his appearance, and some possibly other things out of context?

On another note, before the 2002 series made them the name of the good guys, did anyone else wonder who the Masters of the Universe were for all these years? Heard when the toyline started it was meant towards all the characters, but not mentioned much, so I was confused who the Masters of the Universe were.

Perhaps in the old toy line, it is those that control the Power of Grayskull become Masters of the Universe. But then from 200X onwards, the good guys were called the Masters of the Universe.

Another thing about the two toylines is that in the original series the show focused mainly on He-Man, Man at Arms, Teela and Orko not to mention one-off characters on an episodic basis. While the rest of the characters don't show up all that much as their toys line the shelves. But in 200X, everybody shows up in every episode but the toy shelves were overstocked primarily with He-Man and Skeletor variants.

Well look how he dressed and acted otherwise. Umm yeah. It becomes pretty noticeable when compared to say Sea Hawk for a example

I haven't seen She-Ra in a while except for the Christmas special last month (I watch it every December), so I couldn't vouch for you on your assessment. As for the gay comments about Bow, people are just stupid.

There was an alternate version of the opening pf the original series where Skeletor's warriors are referred to as the Masters of the Universe.

Those are just jackasses. Same people who still call Max and Danny a couple, completely ignoring Kendall's entire existence.

I never got the gay vibe with Bow. The man could have had any woman he wanted in the Rebellion, but I think he wanted Adora (although I think him and Glimmer would have made a nice couple), who seemed to have placed him in the "Friend Zone" between the Secret of the Sword and the first proper episode.

I think the problem with Bow is that he's more the stereotypical "Chick" more than the actual women are.

Generally for the most part. Is it wrong that I ship Adam and Castaspella?

Somehow I see this exchange from the last Harold & Kumar movie happening now:

Adora: Bow, I thought you were gay!

Bow: I am gay. Gay for that- (gets kicked in the head)

I think Sea Hawk had something to do with that. Seeing as how (according to the DVD) he was in the second or third post-pilot episode.

How do you figure?

By the way, I believe I remember from a long time ago, seeing an episode where Bow got a kiss, and he fainted.

He comes off as a wimp a good portion of the time, generally needs saving, the usual.
