I donít know if it was answered, but my super ninja blue has only slightly ratchety shoulders.... WAY less restrictive.

One more time please, but without the alcohol in your system

Something I just noticed too, they finally have the individual zord names on the packaging, nice!

It seems like more care and thought has gone into the new packaging than all of the latest legacy figures.
The bad thing is... Iím not drinking!

So... um... okay. So the Japanese, realizing that the back of the boxes had more real estate, they flipped the boxes so what used to be the back flap, is now the front. And vice versa.

I was basically saying they took a page from them.

Assuming its not a sleeve (that doesn't seem likely at all), the front is the non-windowed side - the one with the name of the item, the Bandai logo, and (most importantly) the recommended age.

Okay, I have to give mad props to whomever at Bandai decided on this packaging design, I have had absolutely zero desire to get the Megazords from this year's line, but this insane packaging has made me reconsider. Kudos to them, this is a really great look.

Speaking of hard to find, or seemingly unreleased toys, did I miss the release of the series 3 power star packs? I've seen people who got them, but I've been unable to find any consistent source for them, and it seems like we're on a time crunch now, like with the last wave of figures.

The Megazord packaging is B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L almost makes me want to get the first year Megazords again (but I wont tho) in fact ALL the packaging for Super Ninja Steel is A-M-A-Z-I-N-G

I've always hated that design, front or back. It either makes the shipping boxes bigger or the seller crams it in a smaller box and just folds it over, creasing or ripping it... It doesn't help with storage space either >_>

More on the power stars: I love the fact that theyre doing the red rangers, aux rangers and past zords. I also wouldve loved electronic stars like boj. I think it wouldve been wicked cool if they packed 1 per pack, but have 2-3 faceplates per pack with the character on them and their ranger color as the molded plastic. Im sure they would charge $12-$14.99 a pack, but Id be fine with it.

No, youíre absolutely correct. I hope itís a passing fad, cause storing the boxes is a bad game of Tetris where you canít get the right block to save your life.

At least Bandai America is doing it right... that... was hard to say.

Well my Toys R Us just got in a case that was totally missing red and blue. Is that a thing or am I just really unlucky and they got in two cases and someone snatched up all the red and blue?

Would anybody happen to know the R number for the new figures and Blaze Megazord? I doubt mine did but I was going to check and see if we got anything in when I go to work Wednesday. Also I don't follow NS much but has there been a standard gold ranger released for the first season?

There has been a standard gold ranger released, though I wouldn't call it widely released

Okay because I've never seen one in stores. I'll try to look on ebay. Aside from the legacy figures I do the red and 6th for the 6th rangers so that's why I was asking.

For the new figures, it might be the following. This is what I was given over the phone, but none in my area yet to confirm.

Wonder if these have a new item number or if theyíre grouped with the regular Ninja Steel figures.

EDIT: TRU item number for the SNS 5Ē figures might be 728530. Good luck! Please let us know if anyone uses that number and is able to find them.

I found mine at Walmart. It's mixed in with the Training Red/Yellow/Pink batch of figures. Keep poking around at your local stores, because it'll probably turn up soon!

Okay my tru has some of the sns figures coming in tonight so I'll probably go tomorrow when I leave my other job in the morning. I'm more interested to see if the Blaze Megazord is on the truck too. Thanks for that R number.

So your store only had Gold, Yellow, and the new Ripcon? How many did they have? I think TRU has two different SKU #s for the SNS assortment, the 728530 one, and 728522. I'm not sure why they'd do it this way, but that would make what I saw at my store make sense today, as I had 4 Red and 4 Blue, but couldn't find the other 3.

And a case pack is 8, so that seems to be what they're doing now, at least at TRU. I wish I could've seen the cases they came in to see how they are differentiating on the actual shipping box, because Wal-Mart's system shows an Asst A SKU and an Asst B SKU on Brickseek, so maybe other stores will be following suit.
