Dodgers go 1-for-2 in their series with Oakland, after a MASSACRE tonight.

But in happier news, Chavez Ravine will host the 2020 MLB All-Star Game after a 40-year absence! ^_^

Maeda had a meltdown, allowing for a hole so big that the Dodgers couldn't battle back in time to beat the D-Backs.

Dodgers, please win it all this year. Lasorda was ready to party!
This, please!

Regarding the World Series, there is plenty of blame to go around. Jansen's blown save in Game 2. McCarthy's subsequent meltdown in extra innings (although is it really a meltdown if he wasn't really expected to pitch, let alone be good?). Kershaw's meltdown in Game 5. Maeda blowing the 7-4 lead in that same game. Darvish in Game 7.

Personally, I think Roberts managed Game 2 perfectly. He was going according to script, and it never failed him before. It was a fluke that it failed him then. Game 7, well...they didn't get Darvish to not use him. At some point, he needed to step up. What bothers me more is that people talked like the Dodgers should have gone after Verlander instead. Verlander was not better than Darvish. He was winless in the Series, after the Dodgers beat him in both games 2 and 6. Sure, he pitched well in the previous rounds, but the Dodgers didn't exactly need him in previous rounds. In the World Series, his track record is pedestrian at best. He also choked against SF in 2012.

Regarding this season, I trust the FO. They have accomplished something that no previous FO accomplished since 1988, which is to make it to the World Series. LA has the most depth in baseball, and will contend for at least a handful of more years.

Damn, Dodgers got buried by the Diamondbacks.

Eh, Verlander had his chance here already.

I have the feeling Mother Nature doesn’t want baseball to be played this year lol.

But they battled back today! Kershaw was on it.

Yeah, the Dodgers and the Angels already have one game each that had to be rescheduled.

Man, the Dodgers whooped up on the Padres yesterday.

Talk about an up-and-down start to the season...

Another blowout win for the Dodgers over the Padres, completing the season sweep!

The Bishop Rich Hill placed on the disabled list for 10 days.

Saw on ESPN.com that Rich has an inflamed finger. Let's hope he has a fast recovery

Darn it, Kershaw got off to a slow start and the Nationals took full advantage.

Joc Pedersen celebrates his birthday by hitting his first homerun of the season, and Hyun-Jin Ryu pitches a whopping seven scoreless innings as the Dodgers shut out the Nationals 4-0!

Bueller didn't do half bad in his Dodgers debut yesterday, helping us edge out the Marlins.

Ugh, Dodgers are the first team of the season with back-to-back losses to Miami. Kershaw was unrecognizable out there...

What the hell happened to Jansen out there? He just... fell.

That was a rough way for the Dodgers to lose a game.

And right after the Dodgers whoop the Giants in the afternoon game, they have to play a makeup game for the rain earlier in the month, and San Francisco gets instant revenge on the boys in blue.

Another Dodger loss to the Giants, this time without Puig, on the disabled list for 10 days after running into the wall.
