My Akihabara haul today:

It was hard not buying everything. lol. Thinking of picking up the SHF Remix Mewtwo and maybe some other stuff later on. I'm a bit salty about my SHF Gogeta purchase though because right after I bought it, I went to another store and they had it for 1000 yen less...it was also one of the last stores I visited before leaving. Haha. I guess I should just be glad I got one without overpaying significantly.

That is why multiple people (local friends, online friends and friends from Japan alike) have stated very clearly that I'm not allowed to go to Akihabara on my own, and that someone will hold the rest of my money when we do go there so I don't blow it all (or even more than I have).

I think the only reason I was able to hold back was because I know I will be back again before I leave. lol. So maybe next time I won't get so lucky! Haha

I've had a productive June.

The train set, there at the back, from '93? That is something I've wanted since I was 8. It's the most money I've ever spent on a single Lego set. Worth it, heh.

But I'm most looking forward to putting the Technic sets together. I don't generally own much Technic stuff, so it'll be a nice change.

What amazes me about LEGO is how far they’ve come with designs. Now they have custom parts and designs, but I remember if I wanted a cool looking car, I had to be super creative with the bricks. Lol! Seeing that set, and while they have custom pieces, they’re still more “bricky” than what would be made today.

Walked into Walmart to see if they had those Godzilla vinyls back in stock, they did! They also had a few extras.

Wasn't gonna miss out on the Godzilla hype, had to pick up Millennium Goji.

Huge haul yesterday, the BM toys are starting to hit UK shelves so I got some bits yesterday for my son. For some reason (really old stock?) My local Smyths had a DC Megazord, figured I'd never see it again so decided to grab one for my collection. HMV had the 4K of SM for 9.99, so at that price how could I pass it up. Then finally wife and decided to start collecting the BBT POPs and Entertainer had 4 so we grabbed those.
