Are they seriously doing Crimson and Navy Thunder?

I hope it's true...

Im thinking the rumors of the Psycho figures being done and ready were bunk, those figures being shown are clearly hand painted prototypes.

I wonder if the female Psycho rangers with be a different mold? They clearly made them 3 masculine, couldn’t really get away with changing the color. Though you couldn’t really tell Psycho pink was female in the show anyway, They all had the same body type.

The only issue is that it seems even he is being shut out recently.
They moved to Pennsylvania over like 6 months ago. They're in LA now, but that's to move their stuff.

I know. I watch his videos. He recently made some comments that seem like they're not even responding to him.

He also just moved on the opposite side of the country from where bandai is, so Im sure it would be much more difficult for him to have more meetings.

Yes, but you don't have to have a meeting to get answers.

Good lord, Bandai America just keeps kicking themselves in the ass.
Guess the next real chance to get any actual news from Bandai
will be SDCC 2018. Way to promote 25 Years of PR, guys!!

Gonna be a long rest of Winter and Spring, with a "wait and see what shows
up on store shelves" approach to the line now.

I'm going to call it now… NO 2018 SDCC EXCLUSIVES for Power Rangers.
Would not shock me at this point, really.

seriously, if bandai and saban is not interested in doing pr, at least for sake of popularity of the product for 25 years and the respect it deserves, just give it a fresh start with a different company that wants to do pr.

Psycho Black’s lance looks more menacing than on the show. Blue’s ax is perfect. And Red’s sword is missing the hand guard.

It does look as though Pink and Yellow use the same torso, and the design means the musculature is less pronounced, so it's pretty much a win all-round.

The Psychos use the same body mold so no need to worry about the females possibly not making it forward in this line.
As in they could release them as casuals wouldn't automatically assume they're girls? Perhaps...

Just NOT PLAYMATES. Their turtle figures are ok, but their paint splotches and leg joints piss me the fuck off.

Please no... lol!

Even their TMNT stuff has been bad. I haven't been happy with anything Playmates related in a long time. And you want a company that's worse than Bandai at showing one thing and cheapening out and giving you something else... look at Playmates.

Which is sad because Ive NEVER had to check my 5" figures for paint. I bought diamonhead, and BOOM!, sloppy basic lines. Paladdins, and BOOM! sloppy paint.

They weren't rumors. That was a statement made by Tony Millunzi the Senior Brand Manager for Power Rangers from Bandai America, at New York Comic Con to numerous attendees who asked questions about the Legacy figure line.

Remember, Saban Brands is handcuffed by Toei. Bandai America is handcuffed by upper management that answers to Bandai Japan.

We spend a lot of time yelling at Saban Brands for not doing something original with Power Rangers. We spend a lot of time yelling at Bandai America for being cheap and idiotic with their business decisions. But while their name is on the product, maybe we should look at the companies above them that truly give the final "YES" or "NO" - namely Toei and Bandai Japan.

While he didn’t say that to me, he did ask whether the “secondary weapons” were more important than the BAM piece.

While I wouldn’t disagree with you, we already have a tough time with Saban and Bandai. I wouldn’t even know where to start when wanting to communicate with BoJ or Toei. If the final decisions are being made by them, then Saban and BoA should bring the concerns they identify to Toei/BoJ.
