Marvel has proven to take B, C and D list characters and make gold with them. They turned characters that were otherwise nothing into stars. Why can't Sony do it? Because they're not Marvel?
To be fair, because Sony has a recent track record of being morons that hire morons to make their movies.

Venom has hopefully taught them how films should actually be approached, fun for everyone and inoffensive to the diehards.

Not because they're not Marvel but because I have a feeling that they'll screw him up unlike Venom and I rather have Sony focus on Venom than films focusing on Marvel superheroes or supervillains.

Yes, they have done a great vampire film before, which was Bram Stoker's Dracula but I just don't see Morbius becoming a strong success, not to mention that their current boss was responsible for those meddling stuff when he was boss of Fox, especially DINO in X-Men Origins: Wolverine and the awful 2015 Fantastic Four reboot he greenlit before leaving.

Now you're contradicting yourself. You don't think it is Sony but do by using their current ceo as the reason? THat is stating you don't think Sony can do it. Which is fine to have little faith in them. As I stated again it would depend on team and freedom they get. That doesn't mean I will write it off. I didn't write Venom off and thought it was a good movie. Not amazing great or anything but entertaining. So Sony has proven they can do it. I just don't blindly write things off like you're doing.

Okay, I'm going to admit this but I don't have any faith in them, not even a little. That is all.

For most of them know/don't know about 1994's The Fantastic Four that never release, full movie has been released. Enjoy!

Pretty sure that's an unofficial upload, and not the only one I've seen on YouTube.

VENOM's Success May Close The Door On SPIDER-MAN Rights Ever Returning To Marvel Studios
I'm sort of wondering about this as well.

The only reason Sony gave in and started to play ball with Marvel is because the ASM series was tanking and Garfield's behavior got him fired.

Sony's been itching to do a Spidey cinematic universe for years, and with Venom doing "well enough" considering it's relatively small budget seems to be enough for them to go full steam ahead with all those movies they've been threatening to make for years.

Though, I do have to wonder, where does the Spider-Man Homecoming/Far From Home series fall in terms of rights? It was a Sony production with Marvel in a "consultancy" position if I remember correctly, as per the conditions of the deal with Marvel. Does this mean Sony can just continue on that series entirely independently? Basically they've just "used" Marvel to restore Spidey to being popular again, then breaking off at the soonest chance they get.

I feel like there's gotta be something in the contract that prevents Sony from using Tom Holland's Spider-Man in future movies if they decide to part ways.

I'm not so sure.

The way I've always understood the agreement is that Spider-Man is still wholly Sony's, and they've allowed him to play in Marvel's sandbox in exchange for Marvel allowing Iron Man to play in theirs.

The latest rumor is that Disney is eyeing Travis Knight (Kubo And The Two Strings, Bumblebee) to direct Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3. His work has always been well-received, so I could see this happening.

So, in news while not directly connected to the Marvel stuff but does impact it, Jessica Henwick was announced to be a part of the cast for Godzilla vs Kong, which started shooting a week ago.

I bring this up because of how it throws a bit of doubt under any notion that a Heroes for Hire or Daughters of the Dragon is coming. Colleen, while not the title character, is still one of the main side characters. So having her absent from the show would create huge issues, especially if one factored in the ending of Iron Fist s2. And, well, it says a lot if Henwick is off doing work at a high profile project rather then wait around for a project that might not come.

At the very least, a HfH and/or DofD Marvel/Netflix show isn't a priority or coming anytime soon.

So my guess is Captain America dies in Avengers 4 and is replaced by a Skrull.

Totally agree, but at least I can tolerate it, unlike that even worse Captain America movie where he gets unfrozen by the President to save a family from anti-environmentalists.

Italian Red Skull because it was filmed during a period where Germany still was separated.

So I was just slipped this article...about how Disney does not want to move the Marvel/Netflix shows onto Disney+, and that for all intents and purposes, Marvel-Netflix is done forever.

Taking with a grain of salt since apparently the source for this is just a reporter from the Rolling Stone magazine...but, I wouldn't be surprised if this was what's going to happen either.

Shang Chi is a frickin badass and deserves more attention. I'm down with this. Ever since his appearance in Hickman's Avengers I've been craving more.

Also, they want a director of Asian descent. While he's not Chinese, I'd absolutely love for Hiro Murai to do it. His style is so unique and if Marvel were to let him take the ball and run with it then we'd have something special in our hands.
