Can anyone spot how they hide the Tyramigo's head and halves of TriKen & Ankyloze's bodies in KishiRyuuOh TigerLance and KishiRyuuOh MilNeedle in that video clip?
They don't- you just leave them off.

The downside of this mech system is there's probably going to be loads of leftover parts. That may mean better designs (many combo mechas have no idea where to put certain pieces), but problems in toy form.

I'm a bit scared of some of those peg clips... they look hollow for some reason? And the little clamps that go around the pegs to hold them look super thin.

Yup. The good thing is, you can actually attach all those extra parts somewhere, even if it isn't show accurate.

Also, the highest combo so far, from what we can tell, is using at least most of the parts available.

15 days from street date for the first wave; very exciting
I have never been this excited for a toyline in years. I can't wait to get my hands on the mecha.

They're basic clips that were developed for the Machine Robo Rescue and Mugenbine lines and they hold up really good. I think in all the years I've owned both lines I've only had 2 break. They're no worse than any other clips, but of course their life expectancy depends on the quality of plastic being used, which I think Bandai learned it's lesson from Kyoryuger.

Given that they're really leaning into making up your own formations, and the overall play-ability, I have a feeling the joints are going to be be pretty sturdy.

Well, the Hajimari no RyuSouls are showing up on Mandarake. I was just able to purchase one for $20.50 total.

I miss when zords were thought out thinking about the whole piece and not leaving parts behind. Really, this trend is just annoying.

Bandai doesn't happen not thinking about what to do with the leftover bits, like making a new megazord or weapon with them.

The thing about missing parts to me only comes in the manner of the RyuSoul Heads. With every thing else from all five Mecha, you can do any combo, it only comes down to which head you wanna use

God damn, the combos....

I HAVE NO MORE ROOM, BANDAI! STOP KILLING MY WALLET! HASBRO ALREADY PUT HIM IN THE ICU WITH SIEGE AND BEAST MORPHERS!

I'm actually really conflicted about whether to get the DX mecha or minipla. Obviously the minipla are friendlier on shelf space and money, plus they're actually articulated and I do enjoy me some gunpla, but the DX just seems more, I don't know, genuine? Not saying the minipla is a knock-off, but it's not the same as have the usual big chunky Sentai mech.

The other thing that worries me is how many pieces there are to lose/misplace!

Ding ding ding, we have a winner! Thatís exactly the point of minipla, a smaller, cheaper more articulate version, with the added bonus of building it yourself

Even with the threat of pieces going missing, I'm happy I can get the toy and enjoy it without a head sticking out of it's chest. I never cared for that. I hope that's what they do for all future designs with chest heads.

My personal dislike aside, the head and joint system they've got is going to be a wonderful boon for some custom designs, heads, add ons and so forth for those that want to put in the effort. That's really going to extend the interest for me.

Oh man; the KishiRyuOh arms are on standard Super Sentai PA joints! (Unsure of the size though). That both ups the amount of future combos, and, possibly makes combining with older mecha a thing.

P.S. Got the Hajimari no RyuSoul! So much fun:

Same size as Ranger Keys, measuring from foot to sword tip. Much sturdier.

God I hope the joints can work with the newer series mecha like lupinranger!

after looking at the joints it seems they are just a little different. they almost look like a eight-point star. you can catch it at specific moments when you puse.

So does KishiryuOh have any elbow articulation at all?
