Since live action Lilo & Stitch gets green lit, I hope they do live action Emperor's New Groove; Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson would be perfect choice for Kronk.

I know they're eventually going to do it, but the thought of a live action movie of Emperor's New Groove sounds tragic...

If that happens, it's going to be very hard to top what both Patrick Warburton and the late Eartha Kitt brought to both Kronk and Yzma.

And I mean... things are animated for a reason... because they're going to be goofy shit that doesn't work and art style plays are large in a designs appeal. Does anyone want photo realistic llama? Can anyone actually manage Yzma's over the top expressions? I mean... all of these things also apply to Lion King.

Tyra Banks, Debra Messing, Allison Janney.

I'm guessing that greenlight had all to do The Jungle Book's success with the model.

Forget Emperor's New Groove in live action, Disney needs to acquire the rights to Llamas With Hats and do THAT as a feature film.

Let me clarify. I don't actually agree with him. I did that comment as a sarcastic response to his but I apologise if it didn't end up being one.

Sarcasm online is very poorly identified, so best you never try it again.

Here's the challenge that The Lion King and other upcoming films will have to face according to the Hollywood Reporter.

While recently re-watching "The Adventures of Ichabod and Mister Toad", was thinking on what if they re-did "Legend of Sleepy Hollow" how things would be. Probably not since that's been overdone a lot, but wondered if they did would they keep to the original story with it being just a prank of Brom Bones scaring Ichabod, or him actually being spirited away by the Headless Horseman? Or be ambiguous about it like Disney's film.

Linda Woolverton, who worked on the scripts for both the original Beauty and the Beast and The Lion King movies, wasn't too thrilled with the former.

A few of Woolverton’s misgivings with the “Beauty and the Beast” live-action remake came from changes the company made to the film’s story, which she believed misrepresented the mythology of the original film. The first change Woolverton discusses was to LeFou’s character, specifically, how it was made to seem like he had a crush on Gaston. Woolverton commented, “Was he in love with Gaston? No. He was just a toady and besotted with a person he could never be.”

Another change Woolverton wasn’t thrilled about was the Beast’s ability to come and go from his castle via a magic mirror. “The castle is supposed to be impenetrable, ” Woolverton said on the podcast. “After that, the mythology didn’t work for me.”
She's also very nervous about the new adaptation of The Lion King.

Someone has an idea of what Disney can do once they run out of classics to remake. The best things to do are remake some of the lesser successful ones or make franchises out of a few of the ones that have already been released.

Beauty & The Beast's Chip could be that universe's Bumblebee franchise.

Hercules really does have potential as a live-action film. It wasn't a huge success upon its release, but it's gained a following in later years. Plus, it's a favorite among millennials . They may or may not want to do it because the 2014 Paramount film with Dwanye Johnson didn't do well at the box-office and the Percy Jackson films weren't big hits either.

I’m just gonna say it.

No, he wouldn’t.

The Rock is a black hole of acting talent and comic timing.

They would be better off having Patrick Warburton reprise the role in live action

If that means The Return of Jafar and The King of Thieves, I am all in favor of such a tactic.

And I have no idea why CGI Great Mouse Detective is taking so long. The subject matter is more classic than any fairy tale.

Don't forget the Kellen Lutz bomb.

Too old and too small now.

But John Cena would be amazing at it.

I'm going to say it. No, Warburton wouldn't either. I'd have someone else playing Kronk instead in the live-action adaptation.
