Honestly I'm shocked that they didn't try to get Butler to play John Wayne Gacy and complete the Disney serial killer movie trifecta with Bundy and Dahmer.

Two classic Peanuts films, A Boy Named Charlie Brown and Snoopy Come Home will be returning to theaters within a few months of each other and they will be digitally re-mastered for new audiences.

“These two Peanuts®️ films are timeless and wonderful. It’s gratifying to honor their legacy by putting them back on the big screen for audiences of all ages to enjoy,” Ken Ross, Executive Vice-President and General Manager at CBS Home Entertainment said in a statement.

“We are thrilled to be associated with Peanuts®️ for the 50th anniversary of this timeless classic. The characters have stood the test of time and their adventures are as relevant today as they were 50 years ago. These two feature films provide a gateway into their world for new audiences while delivering a nostalgic treat for adults,” Ronnie Ycong, EVP of Exhibitor Relations and Operations at Spotlight Cinema Networks added.

The first of the two films, A Boy Named Charlie Brown will screen in participating theaters nationwide on August 18, 21, and 24, 2019. In the film, when Charlie Brown enters the school spelling bee, the doubtful and openly-honest Lucy predicts his abject humiliation. But with the help of his best friend Linus and loyal dog Snoopy, Charlie Brown sets out to surprise his detractors in order to attend the national spelling bee in New York City.

The second, Snoopy, Come Home, will be in theaters September 29, October 3, and October 5, 2019. In this follow up to 1969’s A Boy Named Charlie Brown, the scholarly Snoopy finds himself dragged between two owners and challenged to remain true to himself. When Charlie Brown’s beloved dog Snoopy receives a letter from his original owner Lila, who is in the hospital, his heartstrings are torn. Along with his bird pal Woodstock, Snoopy decides to venture out and visit ailing Lila, making his way across the country. But when Lila gets better and asks Snoopy to live with her, the poor beagle faces a dilemma of loyalty, where he must choose between Charlie and Lila.

That might be.....something. At this point John Travolta should find a nice TV series to settle into. Something like how Billy Bob Thornton has Goliath.

After years since I had seen it, Jumper was playing on TV and I watched it. I did not remember it being this terrible way back when I saw it last. It had quite a bit of potential, but in the end it was nothing more than Hayden Christensan and his burgeoning romance with his high school crush, speckled through out some jumping and sci fi stuff all the while Samuel L Jackson hunting these 'Jumpers', anything thats interesting in this gets thrown out the window in favor of other unnecessary crap.

Yeah, that movie was rough. I wanted to like it, and it was just... there.

On the upside, the book series it was based on is probably soooo much better.

Still feeling too cautious to be fully hyped.

Ansel Elgort believes that there is going to be a sequel to the 2017 hit Baby Driver. I'm hoping that the story will be very good because the original film will be tough act to follow.

One of the few movies with a perfect ending? Yeah, that's a great idea...

The long awaited film adaptation of Dungeons & Dragons at Paramount might finally be seeing the light of day. Jonathan Goldstein & John Francis Daley are in discussions to direct it. They did a an excellent job with the script for Spider-Man: Homecoming, so this could turn out good.

It's bizarre that Colin Firth and Mark Strong are going to be in a gritty WWI film, and it's NOT the gritty WWI Kingsman prequel!

The Irishman

The Irishman is the story of Frank Sheeran, a mob hitman and World War II vet who develops his skills during his service in Italy. Now an old man, he reflects on the events that defined his career as a hitman, particularly the role he played in the disappearance of labor leader Jimmy Hoffa, his longtime friend, and his involvement with the Bufalino crime family

Been waiting an eternity for this film, I kinda expected it to be cancelled. It's meant to be based on a book called "I Heard You Paint Houses
by Charles Brandt". Haven't read the book but I am damn sure I'm watching this.

Not sure if this belongs more here, or if I should make its own thread, but think this movie looks interesting when it comes out:
