Considering the amount of people whod likely pitch a fit that the rest of the team wouldnt match, Hasbro would be playing with fire if they did.
Well, I hope at the very least DC Gold’s sash doesn’t turn out like this one if he gets released. The sash just needs to be a bit more...flat. “Pitch a fit”? This fanbase does that with pretty much everything so that’s not a really big deal.

It's inevitable that not everything will match. Releasing MMPR White and Pink sidesteps the issue of identical suits being released with design tweaks, for now, but it's bound to happen.

Remember when the Super Megaforce Action Heroes changed knee joints? That was midway through a line. It wasn't the end of the world.

If Lighting continues, the head sculpting will surely improve as the years go by. That creates an inherent inconsistency. Not the end of the world. The improvements matter more.

and the improvements will help motivate refresher cases. hopefully they will update the figs with new joints or better sculpts.

After seeing more of the White Ranger figure in video, it say they went a little overboard with the wrinkles in the legs... I know the shoulder sleeves should have it, but the legs seem a bit much. It doesnt look like they repeated it on Tyler so that's good.

I wont touch a single Hasbro figure until I see their red ranger. Nobody has gotten the head sculp right, so that is the standard!

At least if the head is screwed up, it's easy to swap out. Seriously I don't know how it's been so screwed out. It's like designers get a front profile picture with some extreme perspective. Folks it's like a basketball. It's a circle for the front profile just like mmpr black.

I feel like the Zyuranger helmets are especially tricky to get right. As nasty the Legacy MMPR Blue fig was, its helmet was damn near perfect; actually even better than the Figuarts somehow Looking forward to seeing Lightning MMPR Pink soon, partly to get an idea of how the sculpts for women Rangers will look going forward, and also to see what their Zyu helmets will be like overall.

I am impressed that they managed to have Tommy and Tyer's helmets both be glossy. They've been paying more attention to the finish on recent Stormtrooper figures armor so Im sure its not by accident.

maybe they were using an American stuntie for reference

it always seemed like the American suits either were too baggy or too tight

The Zyuranger helmets are fairly geometric. Plus, a lot of action figure design work these days is done on computers, so if they can render it digitally, they can make it physically.

Plus, they've gotten it right, or more right, before. It seems to be a newer issue. I'm almost wondering if this isn't a case where the designers at Bandai US looked at the MMPR Red helmet and were like, "I don't like this, I can make it [what I believe to be] better." There's a difference between maybe not getting the proportions right and adding in giant horned toad-esque ridges above the eyes.

if they are smart, as they release more rangers they will vary the styles of hand poses so we can swap them across all the figures. I would be really annoyed if I end up with 20 pairs of karate chop hands.

What boggles me is how they got the Green Ranger helmet wrong in Legacy Wars. Every time I see it I want to cry, haha.

I think MMPR Pink is the worst offender in Legacy Wars and Battle for the Grid. That thing is... Ugh.

So the original MMPR Pink Ranger was a Sleestak?

The Legacy Wars MMPR Rangers in general are just awful. At least they somewhat improved Red and Green for Battle for the Grid.

I'd love to see how this new Zedd figure might look in Lord Drakkon's Throne from PMC. Even with the shorter scale, Zedd seems one of the taller ones and might fit on that throne very nicely.

Going back a minute here, I suppose that would actually make sense to do, in order for this to really be an MMPR White Ranger figure and not a KibaRanger figure. I mean, how much of the footage we saw of MMPR White wasn't an American stuntie? Just the Zord stuff, right? And in Season 3, not even that.

She looks like an Ultraman knock off gone horribly wrong.
