Anyone else catch the construction sign that read, 1, 2, 3, ? in little circles, and said something to the effect "we can't wait to show you what's to come?" A little on the nose reference to Phase 4 being next. Has the next MCU movie been announced yet?
I didn't notice the roadsign but Black Widow is the next movie.

Nothing else in the MCU matters except this one scene
JK Simmons shocking return as J. Jonah Jameson for the Daily Bugle, going full JJJ on Spidey. That was the true decade long build up for the MCU, not Endgame. JK Simmons with the mustache and yelling about Spider-Man. Greatest. Movie. Ever.

Here's something I just thought about
I really hope that a third MCU Spidey film doesn't use a villain who is angry at Stark. It works for FFH considering how important Tony's legacy is to it, but adding that, we've seen it 5 times now.

1. Obadiah Stane - Wanted to kill Tony to control the weapons industry and tried to kick Tony out of power by force after Tony decided to stop making weapons
2. Aldrich Killian - Wants revenge for being ignored
3. Ultron - Made by Tony and hates being compared to him
4. Vulture - Angry about being fired due to Damage Control being created by Tony
5. Mysterio - Angry for being fired and that Peter was given the glasses

It isn't Earth shattering or anything, but I don't think we need a 6th case of "I'm mad at Tony!"

Tony Stark kidnapped my grandpa, sold him on the deep web for $10,080, and lied about it

I just saw it earlier today

Short answer I liked it. I guess if I had to pick I'd say it was as good but not better than Homecoming.

My only real pet peeve is I wish we got to see Spiderman trying to fight the elementals since the air, and earth elementals got defeated offscreen.

How will Peter clear his name in the next movie?
That's a good question.

I'm guessing that might be the big dramatic plot outside of fighting whatever villain(s) the movie might have

I'm kind of hoping it turns out Beck or whatever his real name was is still alive, and this somehow sets up the Sinister Six as the bad guys in the next movie

While not quite as good as Homecoming, Spider-Man: Far From Home was a fun movie. I felt it slogged a bit in the beginning, the pacing was a bit off and the twist wasn't really a surprise if you know your comic book lore. Tom Holland continues to shine as Peter Parker/Spider-Man. While Tobey Maguire will always have a special place in my heart as being the original, Pre-MCU Spidey, Holland has truly melded into the role and I hope he continues to play it for a long time. Jake Gyllenhaal is utterly fantastic as Mysterio and his chemistry with Holland is great. Jon Favreau was also really good as Happy Hogan, bringing both the funny and mentor/parental figure. I also like the way the movie deals with the fallout of The Blip and Peter coping with the death of Tony Stark.
The two post credits scenes are Amazing! (Pun Intend) and I can't wait to see what happens going forward.

Ha, in my showing a bunch of people left as soon as the credits started, and another bunch after the first post credits scene.

Maybe these scenes shouldn't be so plot heavy, as those people are gonna be confused going into the next few movies.

Or maybe people should have learned by now, NOT TO LEAVE AN MCU MOVIE TILL THE HOUSE LIGHTS GO UP.

Yeah, if they leave and are confused as a result it's on them at this point.

It probably doesn't help that a couple recent post-credit scenes have been small skippable gags... or Endgame's nothing but a sound.

The movie added a horrifying concept at the start about
The Blip. It confirmed that everyone that got dusted returned to the exact spots they were blipped. Well, that kind of means that thousands of people started raining from the sky from the airplanes they disappeared from, both pilots and passengers.

Can Peter legally sign the accords since he's underage? Maybe they'll deal with that in a future movie when Peter turns 18.
Most likely Stark and Hogan embellished his age on the documents but I also can see the civil authorities not being really particular about it only affecting adults, that would pretty much go against the philosophy that if there are enhanced people they can and should be used, useful, but also controlled, they maybe didn't even assume there would be many enhanced people under 18 but if there were it's more important that they be controlled rather than rogue than that the process conform to other laws restricting a lot of decisions to 18 and up.

I honestly just think Spider-Man is pretty 'off the radar' as far as the United Nations is concerned.

Hell, in Civil War he was dismissed as a Youtube hoax. Since then, his fights haven't been very public or destructive, pretty much all of his participation in Infinity War/Endgame is unknown to the public, and mostly is mostly known as a local hero. He doesn't go into foreign nations and cause big incidents, which seemed to be the main reason for the Sokovia Accords existing. Far From Home is so far the only time he's shown suiting up outside of New York and getting involved saving the day (Civil War seems to take place in an abandoned airport, so was not big news).

Maybe they just stopped enforcing the Sokovia Accords after it was revealed The Avengers undid 'The Blip' without so much as a lick of government oversight?

Tony himself said the Accords could be revised as were seen fit during Civil War, with Nat's reply of "We can at least have one hand on the wheel instead of not having any control of the situation." I think after The Snap and The Blip, they probably would have had to revise them in the event that something as big as Thanos as hits Earth again. They went into the Accords apparently not accounting for the likes of Loki, The Skrulls, and whatever else was out there waiting to come to Earth to stir up trouble.

I'm not even sure it makes sense to assume that the Accords are still in place after everything that's taken place over the last 5 years.

They're probably in place. They will be like those laws that aren't enforced because people either forget about them or realize it is useless to enforce them.

Wouldn't it be lovely if they'd actually said so, on-camera?

I thought the Accords would be at least semi important after Civil War, but nope. It was ratified and had no real consequences long term except for the Avengers splitting up. Like, they can bring back
BARF from CW in FFH,
but not any info on the accords?
