I own the MMPR Complete Series and Seasons 4-7 DVD box set. Does this include any new Bonus Features that those did not?

While I'm glad to see a new bonus feature for The Movie, I'm disappointed that they didn't include so many older featurettes, like the Secrets Revealed special, the Making Of from the DVD release, the teaser trailer and other theatrical trailer, or the behind the scenes preview from The Pagemaster VHS.

Those look like different DVD's. Did they just slap different labels on or did they change anything? If they changed anything, maybe they'll have the "Today On" segments this time? I doubt it but I can hope.

Naturally they'd say that, as any business would. If people are certain an individual release is on the way then it'd have an impact on sales of this set.

Which probably means for the time being packaging it with the series was the only way they could convince Fox to give them the license for a blu-ray release.

I wonder if FOX is forcing them to use the ugly logo they created for their DVD re-release a couple of years ago too.

Looks like that's the logo they're going with but maybe it's an early design.

Brian Ward specially went and Liked my Tweet where I broke down the list of companies involved (both now and post-mergers/acquisitions), and that this might be a legal/licensing issue. I’d consider that all but confirmed in my book.

You can see the silly new logo on the disc art in the promo pics, along with the Fox symbol. I’d say this design is close to final.

According to Brian, the featurette from the DVD is at least included.

Gah, I love steelbooks, but I already own the DVDs. I can't justify that much for a nice box.

I'm surprised there's not some type of new special features on the MMPR DVDs. I mean, I get that the original release already gave some real nice ones, but you'd think they'd add something to justify buying the entire series over again.

B. Which version of the movie title will be used. The original “MMPR The Movie” one, or the modified (for some silly reason) “Power Rangers The Movie” one.
Yeah, this. I also hope it's actual Blu-ray quality and not just a slightly better looking version of the "ripped straight off a mid quality YouTube video" DVD.

Can we we just get the blu ray on it's own too? Cause I hate to double dip especially for some thing I already paid over a 100 bucks for. As I normal only double dip if I get something extra that is worth that money. Like when I got the Batman Superman 9 disc set. After i already owned the Burton/Sumucher movies. Because I didnt have the Reeves superman movies on blu ray and 40 dollars for those was worth the double dip. MMPR the movie even if it's on Blu Ray I don't think is worth the 150 to double dip.

Man this got my hopes up. I thought this was MMPR CS on Blu Ray. Still nice to finally see the movie getting the BR treatment.

$160? No ma'am, Pam. I've bought MMPR twice and paid only $200 for the entire 20 years. I'm not paying almost that much for MMPR and the movie.

Didn't the helmet set start of at something like $450 or $650 for USA and $850 for international before it eventually ended up at $199. I wonder if this will experience a similar fall.
It started out at $650, then went down to $500, and then $400, and then $320, and then finally went down to $199, where it started selling fast. The initial international price was $800, then $650, then $550, and the final international price was $470.

Only the movie will have a special feature that wasn't seen anywhere else. I'm disappointed that it won't have MMPR: Secrets Revealed. I hate to use this term, but it's a missed opportunity.

They did change the disc art for this release, but that's about it. The disc art for the legacy set was changed for that too.

At the moment, and I'm not sure it'll ever happen. It probably is a limited rights issue, which permits them to only release the movie on Blu-ray through this set. The sad thing is that I'd probably end up getting this set just for the movie on Blu-ray.

The Movie has to see a standalone release I would buy it if I didn't buy the MMPR-PRLG set.

This is like Funimation and their DBZ rights. Just keep re-selling the first MMPR series, add some new special content and sell it for full price. Yet people will still fork money for it. Lol. I have seriously lost count of how many DBZ DVD sets were made. I'm sure the hardcore fans will buy this set though. I give those peeps props.

Yeah. If there was the chance to get the Movie Blu-ray by itself, I would be all over it, but I can't justify buying all of MMPR again.

I already bought The MMPR-LG set , it’s tempting because of the steel book casing, I just want the Movie BluRay,

I'm disappointed the MMPR:TM Blu won't be available on its own... yet.

Is Fox dragging their heels on this? I can see them releasing a standalone half-assed Blu release without SF's involvement.
