Well, I don't know if want all of those DVDs because the set I already have is signed by Jason David Frank and Amy Johnson. If the movie is sold separately, then I will definitely but it.

They very likely will release it separately in the future. I can't see any reference to it being exclusive to this set. This way they cash in on those who can't wait for it, plus those who can't resist a steelbook. Then they can cash in once again with people who were waiting to buy it on it's own.

So, two big questions at hand:

A. Can we buy the Blu-Ray separate? Especially for those of us that bought the 20-Year Helmet which already had a slot in the cases for the Movie.

B. Which version of the movie title will be used. The original “MMPR The Movie” one, or the modified (for some silly reason) “Power Rangers The Movie” one.

An educated guess would say it would come from the same master as the recent digital HD versions. So whatever title screen those have, I suppose.

Sounds cool but as others have mentioned I’m interested in the movie in blu-ray. All the other stuff is just a re-release of the mmpr set it seems.

Yeah I already have the MMPR box set and the helmet collection plus it's still on Netflix so I don't see any need for another one but if I could get the movie on bluray separate that would be great.

while it is a re-release of the first three seasons, the big thing for me is that the boxset and the individual volumes come in a steelbook case! i love steelbook cases and i just have to get this even if i already own the megasets. frak it. preordering now!

Count me as part of the "I'm just interested in the movie on Blu-Ray" crowd. The new packaging for this release looks nice, but I already bought the complete series a few times over, including the Legacy collection. Here's to hoping that Shout releases the film on its own sooner rather than later.

I hope they re-release the Movie on Blu-Ray separately. I am not paying for MMPR again, especially when the discs in that set aren't as high quality as they could have been (especially with two of the Alien Rangers episodes suffering from ghosting).

A Blu-Ray of the movie (without any fancy packaging to inflate the cost) would be perfect!

(Although I wish they could have done a blu-Ray 25th Anniversary set with the 3 movies and the Saban Brand seasons.)

The worst cgi of all time gets a bluray release!

Seriously someone needs to remaster that ugly ass megazord.

Here's hoping the movie gets a stand-alone release as well. As for which version - the new HD transfer it got a few years ago has the full "Mighty Morphin" title, so I guess they will use that, not the European version that was on the DVDs

Holding out for a separate Blu-ray release... bound to happen eventually. No way I'm getting this unless they finally fix MMPR's video mastering issue - it's just not worth it.

I just noticed it $159.99. I bought the helmet set for $199! Didn't realize Shout factory was as cash grabby as Bandai.

true, their mmpr complete boxset comes in at just over $70 and the bluray movie would probably retail individually around $25. which brings the total to almost $100. so that extra cash is going to the steelbook cases, new artwork, and new interviews. not too bad though.

Didn't the helmet set start of at something like $450 or $650 for USA and $850 for international before it eventually ended up at $199. I wonder if this will experience a similar fall.

In the UK, it's only in the past year or so that we ever got the MMPR complete sets on DVD, I'm not sure how long it'll be until the movie hits BluRay over here, IF it ever does...

Hmm, logically this means mmpr the movie and turbo will receive blu ray releases since both got remastered, right?
