John Francis Daley being involved instantly gives me hope. Whichever one he's writing is an automatic watch for me.
I really didn't like Daley & Goldstein's Vacation. Worse than Vegas Vacation IMO. That's partly why I'm not looking forward to Spider-Man Homecoming.

For me, the Hasbro property that has the most franchise potential (outside of Transformers and G.I. Joe) is Visionaries. Even had a 13 episode cartoon and a comic book tie-in too.

A "Hasbro Cinematic Universe"? I dunno. Kinda sounds like an episode of Robot Chicken, minus the dick and fart jokes.

GI Joe/Transformers has precedence. Ninja Turtles is an entirely different company though.

Ninja Turtles would probably have a shared universe with Wild West C.O.W.boys of Moo Mesa.

The way Paramount has been conducting the writers room meetings for TF and Hasbro movies have been pretty sensible. The writers get a nice check just for meeting together, pitching, mapping out storylines and plotting out potential script treatments. On the studio's end, they'll have multiple treatments to pore over and mull turning into potential films.

For the TF writers room, which lasted three months, the writers generated nine pitches and treatments for different TF universe films (sequels, prequels, animated films). Steven Spielberg and Michael Bay felt there were potential movies in five of those submitted. That's how Paramount got the ball rolling for Transformers 5.

Toy wise, yes. But comic book wise, all three are currently published by IDW. So, there's that connection.

And Usagi Yujimbo.

Ace Duck would crush Guardians at the box office though.

People are forgetting TMNT is owned by Viacom now.

They can share a universe with the Nicktoons.

I'm not sure what one question has to do with the other.

And why would making a M.A.S.K. movie be difficult? It's just as much an undertaking as any other fictional movie ever. Considerably less so than a movie about cars that transform into robots, of which they've already made four.

CGI and just set pieces mostly. Take an existing car and add a shell to it. I don't understand why you needed to ask that. Do you think they went out and built full scale models of GI Joe vehicles for their movies?

I still think they're idiots for not involving the Transformers. Either conclude the Bay series with The Last Knight or continue on and use those incarnations as the HCU versions.

There needs to be something recognizable in the ensemble, and G.I. Joe isn't going to cut it. Two movies that lost money and unavoidable political baggage do not a centerpiece make.

Even though there not promoting as part I just bet the Transformers Movies are in the HCU continuity. It'd be insane not to be.

What's up with the classic toys? I really hope that's not an indicator of what to expect for the designs of the upcoming films, ROM's original look just screams outdated.

Oh, the Transformers will be involved somehow.

They probably just want a lot of fictitious crap to bolster G.I. Joe's waning brand, and if no one cares, they can just dump the whole thing without dragging down the flagship that even a lot of Transformers fans already don't like.

Jem would fit in so well with this universe, that is if Hasbro would actually realize that it's not just a girl's property.

And if they hadn't sold the film rights to Universal.

And if that first movie hadn't been a massive pile of shit.
