Very much no.
A growing number of people have said they'd be interested in a toy story relit and animated to look more like toy story 4. Scudd would look more like a dog and not a rubber puppet, the humans would look less creepy, etc. They could even put back I the extended scene where Woody tries to win buzz back over. There's a lot of ways a redone toy story could be great as long as they do it tastefully.

Yeah, the remodeled younger Andy they did for Toy Story 4 was a severe improvement over the original TS1/TS2 design. Although admittedly I do think the TS1 Sid model was just the right amount of creepy, they really shouldn't try to soften that design up too much. That'd just take the terrifying factor out of it, like if they tried to redesign Darla from Finding Nemo.

He was asking if ALL the remakes should be CGI.

Entertainment Weekly did an article about why the majority of these remakes like Aladdin, Beauty and the Beast, and The Jungle Book have all been successes. They also gave reasons why Dumbo didn't do so well at the box-office.

How Disney is succeeding with its live-action remakes/

Rumor has it that The Great Mouse Detective and Bambi might be getting the same treatment as well.

The only live action Bambi I will accept is that SNL parody with the cast of the Fast and the Furious movies. But I would love to see them do "The Great Mouse Detective"

Not sure about Great Mouse Detective without Vincent Price. As for Bambi, what will they do? Show the mom getting shot, or man?

It'd be about a young boy who's the son of the hunter who killed Bambi's mom. Actually, it'd be the daughter cause that's trendier. But then it'd probably be something similar to the story of Shiloh. The son(or daughter) would be there on his first hunting trip with his dad when Bambi's mom is killed. He'd then end up coming upon Bambi, probably from a distance but he'd become kind of hooked on finding him. Then the movie would go about him trying to help Bambi, "getting to know" the other animals like Thumper and all. Then there'd be a confrontation with his dad over killing Bambi, yada yada yada.

And I just scared myself cause I could see them doing it. But I second the SNL Fast & Furious Bambi, that was hilarious.

Honestly though people should really stop with spreading these rumors of This & That Disney movie being made into live action. And start spreading the rumors about which movies they AREN'T going to make into live action. Seems more interesting at this point, haha!

I keep hearing folks say they want that, though guessing they saw on dvd later. Also it was already a remake as it was Disney's third version of Treasure Island if you count the Muppet one.

My suggestion, have Maurice LaMarche voice Ratigan.
