Soooo i guess this mall will be a big plotpoint next season
Either a chill spot or a place for a new entry to the upside down to open up. Maybe both
Would make the most sense. There's now suddenly a hot spot of population in town, perfect place for the upside down's creatures to feast. Heh, the upside down version is bound to look gnarly. Also, is Steve the only character in the video or did I miss others?

Man, I remember Waldenbooks. That and B Dalton were my jam back in the day. And I laughed seeing Radio Shack since now they're trying to come back slowly. And didn't realize Claire's existed back in the 80's, wow that's been around forever.

Amusing first teaser with the mall ad, I like it. Though I kept expecting any moment something creepy to appear. Kind of would've liked the general 'everything's great and happy' mall add, but to have signs of the upside down, maybe even creatures, showing in the background yet no one was reacting to it. That would've been cool.

Also do you think there's going to be a particular movie themed into the season? Like last year had the kids cosplaying as Ghostbusters. Maybe with the mall setting they'll put the theme on the teens this time, with one or more 80's teen movies.

Season 3 is set during Summer 1985, so Back to the Future. Which I believe the Duffer Brothers already confirmed.

1985 may be perfect 80’s nostalgia.

I like the way this show turned out after giving up on it initially.

I think season 3 or 4 will be it.

I wonder how long we can see a show with young cast like this go on.

Nothing wrong with it per say but the mystery of the town is only so big right?

One of the things that makes great tv shows is when they know what the story is ending with and when to say goodbye to characters.

We aren’t going to see these kids grow up like the show “ boy meets world” but more of a nightmare with nostalgia?

Pretty sure they mentioned last year that they only had plans for four seasons. I mean sure, things can change, but I think the idea is yeah telling a finite story. Not trying to make up a story to continue going season after season. I wouldn't worry about it any how, just enjoy the seasons as they come and we'll see what happens.

They said it'll likely end on Season 4 or 5. So at the least we'll probably get 4 seasons, 5 at the most.

Love that it seems like they’re gonna touch on the part of teenage lives where people grow out what they love whilst some remain. (Basically me with my continued love for pokemon and power rangers)
Overall im digging the feel of it. Seems like there will be much more to explore with this new mall

Just finished binging season 3 and i loved it.
Dont know if its cause i havent seen season one since it came out, but i think this is my favourite season. Definitely better than season 2 thats for sure.
Its so different and sorta distinguishes itself more. Its wacky, fun and comedic whilst still holding its serious and dark side in places. Definitely gave me 80s movie feels. I can see some people hating it cause its very very light compared to the first two, but it makes watching feel less of a drag and far less daunting.

Some good characters and development as the story went along aswell.

Happy watching to all

Ps. Theres a scene during the start of the credits, so dont turn off too soon

yes theres an end credit scene in the finale. so dont stop.

but yes, this season was a huge improvement over season 2 and i love it. it may have even surpassed season 1 for me. they pretty much fixed what was wrong with season 2 and improved a lot. the story really just starts off from the start and doesnt stop. great moments with returning characters and new characters. the new characters in this season dont feel at all forced, it felt organic to add them to the story. a huge improvement. i hope they do a fourth season!

Loved the Terminator vibes from the big Russian guy. The random debate on New Coke haha. The Steve, Robin, Dustin and Erica team. Such a fun season. I didn’t realize how young the kids were in season 1 until Mike has that little flashback. They’ve grown so damn much.

So there’s either gonna be one or two more and I pray they keep this level of story telling going. Also, I’m guessing the American they mention at the end is Hopper. There was no body so definitely a good chance he escaped and got captured. Just a guess though. I’m so excited to see what’s next, hopefully we don’t have to wait too long for Season 4.

Dear Duffer Brothers, enough with the goddamn strobe effect shots. It's just too much, too often, too many important scenes, it just hurts to watch. No one needs them, you can get the same atmospheric effect with a slower blink, you do not need to give everyone seizures. Every time Netflix's strobe warning popped up I was mad.

Other than that it was an amazing series and I would be downright pissed if we didn't get a 4th one. Just, you know, no more strobe effects.

Hopper's aesthetic this season is a big mood.
