I think the Demogorgon and Eleven were one and the same in the end. So if that worm means the thing is returning, it could only mean she'd come back too. Probably after some Spielberg-esque set up by the kids.

If season one was made as a love song to 80s genre classics, season two would make so much sense to come back as a play on the endless sequels of the 80s and 90s. Although doing it anthology style with a new cast and new set up would also be a great idea, the kids were just too perfect to abandon. Maybe bring the cast along with and do a 90s style adventure instead of a straight sequel. Though I can't think of 90s genre classics to pull from the way season 1 hit Spielberg and Donner so hard.
[Spoiler]I don't think it would fit this story, but what came to mind was movies like Sandlot, Mighty Ducks, Angels in the Outfield, etc. They were pretty prevalent in the 90s... but they have nothing to do with Stranger Things' set up. *shrug*[/oldspoilertags]

It was officially renewed for season 2 today, with a short teaser promo with all the new episode titles. Found some info from the Duffer Bros. about what to expect from season 2 in the article link as well.

Holy shit, I finished this a week ago, and it was stunning. All the beats needed were hit, and after they were struck--they rang. Fucking hell.

Even if there wasn't a Season 2 somehow, I would have been content. One of the show's strengths was the fact that the story was wrapped up nicely, but the Myth's still the Myth. The final questions doesn't nag, but present themselves.

Also, this is the best U.S.!Kamen Rider Gaim adaption ever!

It's always awesome to see a PR actor getting work! 2017 might be a good year with him in the movie and now Stranger Things.

I started this series yesterday morning. Three episodes in and am hoping to start episode four soon. This show is weird as hell.

I actually had trouble sleeping today, which was likely all the caffeine I had, but this didn't help. >_>;

Season 2 teaser

Here’s A List Of Plot Details From STRANGER THINGS 2 (UPDATED)

http://birthmoviesdeath.com/2017/02/...2-plot-details

Fall of 1984. Lots of cool things in store like the kids going as the ghostbusters.

I can't wait for 1985. My birth year and back to the future.

I just got to watching this the other day. Definitely was a good show, really liked it. I'm wondering what will go on during S2, it'll be interesting indeed. That teaser was fun, I liked the kids dressed as ghostbusters, that's amusing.

Eleven looks like a young Natalie Portman in that photo.

They seem to have these seasons really far apart. Season 1 was released in July, so that's well over a year later for season 2.

One concern could be for season 3 is the kids would be getting too old, if they're still supposed to be around the same age. But maybe they'll show the younger kids in highschool and Nancy going off to college. I'm not sure how far apart chronologically each season will be.

Well, the second season seems to be separated by a year, so if they keep that timeline up with the shooting schedule, they can probably keep the kids believably at the age they need them to be in story.

I'm more interested in seeing how long they can keep sending all the kids around the talk show circuit doing absurdly adorable things to make you watch them go through hell.

Hey it works in Japan(sentai)

Those actors get trotted around like work horse to stage shows and events. They also have to answer scripted questions and answers

"I'm going to do my best this year! Please watch us!"

.
Yeah, probably won't be an issue if they don't wait too long for season 3 filming.

I was just thinking about the sharp contrast in the second Harry Potter film when they all hit puberty. It was hard for me to believe it had only been one year. And then there were scenes that were filmed sooner, in later parts of the movie prior to hitting puberty which made it look like they were aging in reverse.

Yeah Daniel's voice started to hit puberty and then a few scenes later it was back to pre-puberty

"Don't worry. I will"

Definitely sounded like his voice was changing
