Thanks chihuahua. I'll look for some 22.

As for stripped screws. I know there's an infomercial about this screw driver head that's meant to unscrew stripped screws. I think it's called the Pro Grabit.
Others say to put a rubber band on top of the screw head then trying to use a screw driver to normally remove it. I googled it.

Or use a dremel with the engraver tool. With that you can make new "slots" for your screwdriver to fit into. Then get new ones at home depot.

hearing the sounds and seeing the lights again gave me a lot of satisfaction.

So you enjoyed it lol. I fix electronics for the people at work for a small commission mainly to cover wire and solder, sometimes relays and IC chips, but for some reason power morphers are so much fun. I ended up getting one from a yard sale, no indication it was a BoJ one. Everything pointed to a BoA morpher but for some reason after I re-soldered it the morpher sounded just like a BoJ. Weirdest morpher out of my 5 so far.

yeah i enjoyed it! i wish i could bring this thing to happy hour now that it's fixed, it'd be better if i had a holster >=/.

You know, I was thinking. Could it be possible to get a better sound by changing out the speaker? has this ever been discussed? dude, do a test trial with a different speaker. eh eh? haha.

i think the funnest part was tinning each part. i never managed to get the old solder off, so i just tinned on top of that. if i did this more, i'd definitely need some helping hands. it was tough finding a position for the cover to be in to have the wire and contact reach each other. ahhh so fun though.

I've thought about it before, just like I have with my original and custom painted dragon dagger, just haven't found a suitable speaker yet.

Heres what i had to doto deal with the stripped screws. Drilled the hell out of the heads just to get the back off, then I used a pair of pliers and simply twisted the remaining of the screws out. In turn, went to my local Ace Hardware and found some suitable replacements and bought a few extras just in case. I did have the shave the edges of the new screws down a bit just so they fit.

Next question, the morpher pops open a little too easily, think the 4 screws that hold down the x/y axis need to be tightened a little more?

Finished.

So shiny. Can't wait for my other morpher to get in, so I can mod it!

Just wanted to share that I didn't want to buy 25' of wire for $8 at RadioShack so I cut up and old iPod USB cable and found plenty of wire inside. 4 strands x 3' is about 12ft of wire. This wire worked for extending the length of wore
Inside of my morpher. Now if I decide to open it again I won't have to worry about breaking the wire again.

good idea but you can find the wire at walmart for a lot less and if you look for it at radioshack it has 3 sets of 22 gauge wire for like $6

Yeah. I checked RS today the 3 colors were $8 for the set. Then all red for $7. I don't need that much wire haha. What I do want now is some shrink wrap, cause its cool. But black electrical tape works I guess.

Hi Mike,
Sorry for the late reply.
The coin on ebay you refer to, looks a lot like mine, but it's not the same one I think.

I bought mine here: shapeways.com

Thanks.
Depending on what sticker you're looking for you can always order them from blinddrummer15 here on the board.

For a holster you can check with outatime here or PowerProps on eBay for a working one(with red clips) and buzzs-room-stuff on eBay for a prop replica.

Not sure how much you pay but I think both that and Click's are great price.

Remember that none of the companies owning the franchise Toei or Saban had release a show accurate tiger coin other than the one with the tiger face from Saban, so the one you have and Click's can be said are show accurate. Also Buzz(buzzs-room-stuff ) is selling on ebay an exact resin copy of the American tiger coin prop used in the MMPR TV series. Be aware this is a resin copy of the prop made and used in the show so is not moprher functional.
