Just bought my set! I don't ever get Premium Bandai stuff, besides a couple of Deka figuarts ages ago, so I wasn't sure who to go with. I did a quick comparison and narrowed it down to Toku Taku and Tokullectibles. TT was slightly cheaper for me thanks to different shipping options, so I went with them in the end.
Usually I'll spend forever researching and things to save every penny I can, but I can't risk taking to long and letting this evade my grasp. Kinda proud of myself for saying "screw it", lol.

I'm impressed how they're pulling off the Judgment effect. You wouldn't think there would be much room in there for LEDs. I'm definitely glad that they've gone with interchangeable ID cards. Such a better idea that the one-use stickers that came with the original release. (Also tickled that Ban's FS ID says Hybrit Magnum )

In case anyone want to see all the info and images, here are the three separate Bandai pages:

SP Licence
SP Licence Fire Squad ver.
SP Licence & SP Licence Fire Squad ver. SPD Set

Some of the features that I've translated from those pages:
  • LED lights for the Judgement mode
  • Henshin sounds include music, the cast's voices ("Change standby! Emergency, Dekaranger! Face on!"), and the narrator's voice ("Five detectives who fight cool with burning hearts...", "Deka Metal" henshin explanation)
  • Phone mode on both Licences includes 40 new voice clips of the cast
  • Has a new switch to toggle cast sounds on & off
  • Swappable character ID cards
  • All 3 items (2 separate, 1 set) release in October
  • The separate SP Licence and the SP Licence Fire Squad ver. are 9,200 yen each
  • The SP Licence & SP Licence Fire Squad ver. SPD Set is 16,400 yen

I can't believe come October I'll own a box that plays the Dekaranger henshin theme alongside the box I have that plays the Kakuranger henshin theme

That's my thing too... amazing what technology has come to over the years... and leave it to the Japanese.

I missed that those were individual character cards as well... so that's even better. I mean, they basically updated the thing with everything I really wanted!

Really wish I hadn't heard about the SP License. Totally badass and I want it now. Lol

What are the odds that the pre-order will remain... "in stock" on tokullectibles.com in about a month from now? Anyone know how quickly pre-orders sell out on things like this?

You can always ask AnAlpha... Tokullectibles is his.

Pre-orders are a crap-shoot though.

Can't speak for other stores, but I secured a bunch of the sets and individuals early on. I blew through the sets, but was able to lock in more, so I should be good on those for a while.

Bandai set a date of some point in July for the end of preorders, but they have been known to close preorders early on items that oversell planned production. In some cases, as with the Popi gashats, they open additional production runs with later delivery.

So, as Taichi said, a crapshoot :p

I guess so… cannot find any blogger pics of it.

EDIT: Looks like it was May 29th, not the 25th… couple more days.

The site definitely says May 25th as the shipping date, which means folks should start to receive them tomorrow.

Thanks.

Amazon.jp has ruined me on stuff like this. Previously, if I'd heard the shipping date was 5/25, I'd be happy receiving an order within a few weeks. But since Amazon tends to get stuff to my place on the morning of release, I'm actually kinda surprised when something doesn't arrive that day.

Looking forward to making a video of the dagger. Should be much less of a headache than my usual transforming robot offerings.

Post tried to deliver the Zyusouken this evening, but I missed it. Something to look forward to after work tomorrow.

Delivery guy dropped off the Zyusouken just now. The presentation is really nice. I'm pretty happy they didn't try to copy the original look of the toy's box.

I know we all heard the sounds from the prototype video but here's a full play through of the sounds from the final released model I found. Can't wait to get mine!

I was really surprised by how nice the sounds are. And how long they play for. Not sure how that compares to the Dragon Dagger, but I'm really glad this finally made its way over here.

Eagerly awaiting the Dragon Buckler.

Agreed. This thing blows the legacy dragon dagger out of the
Water, both in presentation with the stand and sound-wise.

So glad I preordered it.
