Hey new poster here going to my first morphicon with my fiancé in August. We are stoked but don’t know anyone so we are really excited to meet some fellow ranger fans to have fun and meet during the weekend! Nice to meet everyone

There will be one this year.
After that, no one knows. (Which has been true of every subsequent Morphicon from the beginning.)

Regardless of TRU's status, Power Morphicon will still be happening in August.

If I remember correctly, TRU wasn't on board for the first two or three PMCs.

I would guess they will just look for a new sponsor if TRU goes under. And it all depends on if they are successful in locating one as well as turnout to this year if there will be another or not.

I never really figured out what their contribution was in the first place. Just money? To have their name on the PMC website?

I've never been to PMC, but, just in case this is the last one, I just registered for a Blue Ranger Non-Attending package. And added on a Con shirt. Hope I'm not too late for a program and gift bag.

I know there's a non-attendee package, but I would be forever grateful if someone could pick up the exclusive figure for a friend of mine.

I mean, I'll pay in advance, that's how much I want to help a friend get one.

Well, some of the advice from years past may not be good because it's a different locale, but here's some general advice.

Bring lots of cash. All the autographs, whatever, they cost money, typically around $20-30.

There are no grocery stores around the convention center. However, there are a 7-Eleven and a CVS. There are also several restaurants in walking distance, including IHOP, Carl's Jr. and various national chains at Anaheim GardenWalk. Downtown Disney, a ~15 minute walk away, is home to the last surviving ESPN Zone and several other restaurants. My hotel (Express Inn) has continental breakfast, check this sort of thing when booking.

While the process for getting the con exclusive figure is all online this time, you *may* have to line up before doors open on, say, the Saturday, for a wristband to get a Ninja Steel cast autograph, if Saban is doing that again.

Is there anything in particular you wanted to know about?

Just curious the last two US Star Wars Celebrations are the biggest conventions my wife and I have attended. The weistband thing is somewhat familiar. I really just wasn’t sure how a lot of this would handle. We’re flting in from TN and have platinum badges since we might not have the opportunity to do this one again we want to make it easier to get through lines to see things.

There's one in Fullerton and one in Orange, but they're not really close to Anaheim at all.
