Merchandise Hauls Thread, March 2019

Moderators/Admin wrote:
Hauls Thread. You know the drill.

Please don't re-quote images on the same page. Don't re-quote every single image just to say something is neat or cool. Edit out the [IMG] tags and everything in between to remove the photos.

Please do not complain about what things someone has purchased. It's lame to hear you post your hauls and then moan because someone else bought something in multiples or you think they are hoarding. If you want it so bad, save up for it and get it!

Do not attempt to resell your hauls here. That is what the Marketplace Forum is for. Create a new sales thread, or update an existing sales thread and sell them in there please.

Please keep images 800 pixels in width.

What you can post here
  • Toys
  • Video games
  • Movies
  • Important life purchases
What you can't/shouldn't post here
  • Sexually/graphically explicit "hauls"
  • Groceries
  • General life supplies, including, but not limited to
    • shipping supplies
    • frequently purchased custom supplies
    • household items
  • Drugs/alcohol, anything of an illegal nature
  • Awards
  • Your "awaiting/just purchased" lists (It's not a haul until you get it!)
While this thread is not specific to Power Rangers, Sentai, Kamen Rider related merchandise, at the end of the day it is still supposed to be centered around the merchandise you buy for your collection. A new morpher, the latest comic book series you are reading, and even a new car you just purchased... stuff like that is fine.
Tape for when you ship packages, the same tube of bondo you have used on some of your customs for the last year, or an award for straight A's at school are not really what this thread is for.

That's it guys, have fun!
March is here. Springtime is just around the bend.
Beast Morphers is about to hit the scene, so bet we're going to be seeing alot of that grace the hauls thread this month.
Good Hunting out there, and good luck.

Decided to kick off the month by getting back into collecting Shout Factory's Super Sentai DVD sets. GoGoV arrived in the mail this morning. This copy was the last one that my trusted seller had in stock, so I jumped on it while I could. Good thing each season is standalone, so I can collect them piecemeal.
As someone who lives outside of the US and Canada, I make a point of checking for bootlegs and I consider myself lucky to have avoided them so far. It's a risk I'm happy to take if it means adding to this fledgling collection.

Ah, getting these over here in Europe at a decent price is a nightmare. Paid a small fortune in import tax for my first 6 sets...Good thing that my sister was recently in Canada and helped out with GoGoFive, Timeranger and Gaoranger.

And fortunately, only my Gingaman ended up being a bootleg and was refunded immediately. The thing is that the case on the bootleg is actually way sturdier than the cases Shout! use.

Thanks to Mondo's limited-time offer on free international shipping, I finally managed to snag these two:

- Contra - Original Video Game Soundtrack LP (includes both Arcade and NES version)
- Contra III: The Alien Wars - Original Video Game Soundtrack LP (the artwork on this is awesome)

Unfortunately for my wallet, a whole bunch of other records I was interested in, I found either on sale or just relatively cheap compared to what they usually go for, so I'm awaiting on another 10 to come in the mail...yikes!

Abare hunter, Red dino ranger, hurricane red, that's cool! I hope they didn't arrive damaged.
I wrote in February's thread, I think (memory problems) about the zyuranger DVD arrived damaged. I still watched it though.
I enjoyed it so much I ordered kakuranger DVD this month. That wasn't broken thankgoodness.
I ordered both from amazon global something.
Then I found power rangers turbo boxset DVD on amazon, but seller in my country.
1.99. Bargain! I think its German but it has English as well.
Has Power Rangers Classxx written on it.

Since mid/late 2018 I've been getting into Transformers after delving into this franchise and really discovering how it's, for lack of a better term, more than meets the eye. I have about 12 TFs now and I plan to show it off at another time, but what I want to highlight right now is my most recent purchase: a blast from the past.

Is that the RiD 2001 Scourge? Definitely looks like him, albeit with a G2 deco.

Red Rock, yes, if it has Classixx it's the German set. I have those for MMPR-In Space. They were a big deal when they came out and were highly sought-after. Turbo was actually the first one I got and it was at a bargain price too, just like yours - 3.50 Euro, brand-new. Good times.

Yes and no, actually.

RiD 2001 Scourge is actually an updated reuse of a mold from the mid 90's G2 toyline, specifically the "Laser" Optimus Prime toy. RiD 2001, being a mishmash of past toylines up to that point, then reused, recolored, and updated it to become Scourge. What I have is essentially a mix of the two: G2 Laser Optimus Prime but with the updates of RiD 2001 Scourge.

Hauls from the last few days.

Zoom were recently doing select 4Ks x2 of 20, wen I saw JPLW & 3 I couldnt pass up at that price, esp. Being steel cases.

As for the TF, I really dont know why. I like TF, grew up on it but I've never really collected any figures in my adult years. Yet for some reason the last few weeks I've really wanted to add an Optimus Prime to my collection and I really like the look of the PoP Optimus. And well.... if you have an Autobot you gotta have a decepticon and Starscream has always been one of my favourites.

Have to say, while I really like the robot mode of thr Starscream his alt. Mode is c**p. I hate how Hasbro designed it so that the cockpit of the plane isnt actually the body and rather a sep piece on his back, but it appears this is the standard design for the various figures now.

Is that the bluefin release of Wasp? Does she just come with a stand? What's her extra accessory like the other figuarts came with?

Super excited for the tricorder to go with this year's Science Officer uniform for Halloween. Was hoping to get the medical version but they're a bit pricey. I've seen a holster for the tricorder floating around, need to find a phaser one, still.
