Oddly enough, one thing I'm really looking forward to seeing is the packaging and design approach for all the merch. If the pillows from the Licensing Expo and stationary merch we saw a few months back are any indication, they'll look pretty slick. At least, more interesting than what we've gotten recently.

At only $40 for Great Go-Buster I imagine they'll be releasing components with more detail on them individually that can combine.
I could see that. IE, non-transforming versions of the Buster Hercules armor that you tack on to this toy, and then down the line there's one that combines on its own and can combine with this one.

Looks like that picture at the top of Heavy.com's article has been changed now, removing the photo of the Deluxe Ultrazord and replacing it with the all-in-one sound figure that the article speaks about. I guess someone made a mistake with that...

Good. I was incredibly confused by them advertising one toy when both pictures were seemingly different ones.

That would be unfortunate. We've had plenty of animal themed seasons. Spies was a new one.
The problem w/ this is that the “Spy” theme isn’t actually supported by the footage. The first 10 episodes certainly contain moments of the rangers doing stake outs and being sneaky but that Didn’t last and by even just the middle of the show, I regularly forgot that that’s where the show started.

If it were up to me and money was not an issue, I’d have preferred them to go harder in the Spy direction but it simply isn’t feasible considering what they already have to work with.

The DX Zord looks quite nice!. The others...eh, not so much. The combined-only Ultrazord seems to be on-par with similar BOA toys. I appreciate the fact that there's Wild Force thrown it, but it looks really dopey, nowhere near as cool as the Imaginext zords.

Very interesting. I wonder why each one comes with those large blaster pieces? Really other than Red and Blue’s oddly wide stance, they look nice overall

Morpher! And it does come with a key. So that confirms the set morph... when it looked like they inserted something into the Morpher.

Well I'm a man of my word. The Megazord, the morpher, and especially the figures all look very good. Even if we don't get them as painted as they are here, the sculpts and articulation have me. Finances be damned.

Hasbro, let's do this.

I'm sure it's just a weird perspective thing. I can't imagine they'd put all the effort into the detail and design to mess up so hard on something they excel at in other properties.

Color me excited. These figured look like they're almost on par with the Legacy figures from Bandai at half the price. I think I might actually pick these up!

This.

Also, props to Hasbro for putting Yellow front-and-center.

Is this the first time a female Ranger has been flanked by the males for promo art?

Unless there's a picture I'm missing, I don't see where they're photographed together. The images probably aren't to scale. I'd be very doubtful if Yellow ends up larger than the guys (who probably share the same molding, so if Yellow was bigger than Blue, she'd also be bigger than Red).

But, yeah, overall, these look better than I was expecting.

The morpher I might have to wait and see how it compares to the BoJ version before I decide which one I'm going to buy.

EDIT: Okay, the header image wasn't loading the first time I looked at the page. Yeah, that's definitely a crappy editing job combining the stock photos of the individual figures..

The morpher looks really nice and I'm THRILLED to see that the basic figures will have good articulation in the legs, which Hasbro is skimping on in most of their kiddie lines. I really like the sculpts and the paint is more than decent.

Oh, how I hope these make it to local stores! I've been dying with no PR since Megaforce (and even at that time - barely any PR at all).
