So how will D&D portray Rey as no better than the Sith when they get to do the series?

Or are we going to believe Luke was no better than Palpatine in the long run?

Uhm...isn't it that their movie trilogy is supposed to be completely unconnected in any way from the main SW movies? To the point that none of the familiar characters are supposed to be having any leading roles?

And I mean, Daisy Ridley has made it abundantly clear that she's out after this trilogy.

I fully expect her to change her tune after her career fails to keep its momentum. Very few actors' careers survive starring in gigantic franchise films, especially when they're practically brand new like Ridley was.

Some footage was also unveiled at D23 from the movie

The new footage ended with a big tease, showing Rey (Daisy Ridley) wielding a dual lightsaber while wearing a dark hood as she and Kylo (Adam Driver) fought on a downed ship in the middle of the sea as a fleet of star destroyers appeared.

I wonder we heard Palpatine because Snoke was killed by Rian Johnson. So they need another big baddie back.

Saw the sizzle reel and official announcement with Ewan, and I’m pretty pumped. Also a nice nifty roadmap timeline like the MCU that divides the films and shows into three eras: Age of Republic, Rebellion and Resistance. I certainly wouldn’t mind if they keep these as official names moving forward.

Official Star Wars UK Social Media has given a release window for The Mandalorian, and by extension Disney+. "Early 2020". So UK SW Fans that want to support it legitimately would have to dodge spoilers until at least March (Possibly longer for other territories going by Disney's "most major markets over two years" blurb).

It feels more like an ad for the CGI shows than for the flagship.

I wonder if they'll have to call Disney+ something else when it arrives in the UK? The name Disney+ is already taken as a time-delay catch up channel

I think it's more likely that the time shift channel's name will change. They'll probably want to keep the brand consistent

The Mandalorian trailer looked pretty cool and got my attention. The quality of the trailer made me felt like I was watching a new movie. But I have to remind myself that its a Disney+ streaming series. If this is what Disney expects their Marvel Studios series to look like then oh my lord, there's many things for me to watch. And not much time.....

The trailer of the Mandalorians seems really nice, and a great adicition to the Star Wars shows, and even with the New Movie, is nice they going to explored the universe of the Star Wars, since we had a little show up of the Mandalorians in Clone Wars, and i hope we get see the Dark Light Saber too

I do find it kind odd that they spent the last two movies building up the new characters and are now gonna move on from them to do completely unrelated trilogies . I know there taking a three year breaks from Star Wars Films but its clear they want Star Wars movie to be a long term franchise. It would seem to make more sense to keep Rey, Finn, and Poe around instead of just moving on.

^ I think that odd too, even we know they are planning a New trilogy next of the movie The Rise of Skywalker, something looks like Disney dont know what to do, which the Franchises they had nowdays, give the example of Marvel,Star Wars and Fox, since now they had a huge media capital !
