The ones that make no noise at all I think are villains. I tried this out and shook several of the boxes, listening for the one that had the most noise, which I ended up buying.

When I opened the box and bag in my car, lo and behold, I got the Green Ranger!

The shaking method is exactly what I used to find Yellow for my girlfriend. I found one that rattled a lot, figuring it would be yellow due to the 2 daggers and hair piece, and sure enough I was right.

I got a few of these this weekend from a friend, who bought a few from Amazon and gave me his doubles (Red, Green, Yellow, and Blue).

As I said in the Hauls thread, I'm very surprised the chase Armored Red figure doesn't have the gold armbands painted on. This would make it very easy for unscrupulous eBay sellers to try and pass off a quick custom as a rare variant. My advice would be if you're looking to buy Armored Red, make sure the seller has the insert card to go with it.

Part of me wonders if Green Ranger was originally going to be one of the rarer figures, but was swapped out for Black at the last second (because of Tommy popularity). What would be the reasoning for making Black Ranger harder to find than the rest of the core five? Also, the Dragon Dagger has a lot more sculpted detail than the rest of the Rangers' weapons, making me think it was meant to be "special."

Is anyone else annoyed that the pink ranger's bow is missing the pink and a bow?

This might come across badly but I don't intend for it to: could the skin tone have something to do with it being produced in fewer numbers than the rest?

EDIT: And I don't mean that as in "is Loyal Subjects racist" but as in "is having one characters' head mold be colored darker than the other a financial hit?"

Each figure has a different tone I believe. Its just an airbrush.

I reviewed the Loyal Subject Figures in HIGH detail. For anyone on the border I suggest giving it a watch and you will love them. Soon i will have a video on the chase figure
"Baddies and Tommy" - https://youtu.be/dUAU0or_7Ps 1080p 60fps
"4/5 Core Team" - https://youtu.be/AfjdJlQ3p_c 1080p 60fps
"1/5 Core Team - Black Ranger Figure" - https://youtu.be/2FfeYEIARQo 1080p 60fps

Here is the video on how to make the case figure and get a second figure that would be 100% new!

I just noticed this too. At that super tiny scale I'm surprised they even got that onto the coin

Damn promotional items at a convention where 2/3+ of the quantity bought are not by fans, but by people to resell for a profit.

Sigh, its going to be a pain to get all 6. Im assuming this booth will be near Funko like it is every year and the people who don't make it into Funko will flock to this.

On the bright side...at least the probability of me getting one is higher than me pulling the white ranger from the blind pack ...............

I bought three of these over the weekend and pulled Pink, Green, and Rita. Sort of want to go after the White Ranger Vs. Lord Zedd set since White is so hard to pull...and Red Vs. Goldar even though they are commons. Wonder what the metallic figures will look like (guess those will be unveiled as we get closer to the convention).

Here's the first photo of the metallic Pink Ranger vs Rita Repulsa set.

Quote:
Thursday, July 9th, aka DAY TWO at SDCC is serving up more fire. Metallic Rita Repulsa vs. Metallic ED Pink Ranger releases at 3p with a signing by Joe Allard. The Metallic pak is window box and looks just like a classic candy coated car paint job. This is a KILLER paint detail. Do not sleep on this one. Limited to 500 avail.
