I really have problems with how they have Reginald Hudlin being associated with Black Panther as a positive in marketing right now.
They should've referenced the Christopher Priest run instead.

I did not care for that run of BP or the bad motion comic they made of it. It kind of sucks this is what they have to tie into the Black Panther film. It'd be way better to just air or upload the EMH run again.

It's awesome. It's just sad what happens when its done and when they tried to repeat it.
Hudlin's run did have its problems...notoriously the Wakanda has the Cure for cancer but won't share it with the outside world...but it also had some good parts. I think. To be honest I think the only thing I really remember is the T'Challa-Storm Wedding...I think that run was heavily impacted by Civil War, Secret Invasion, and Dark Reign so it did not really have any stand out story arcs.

didn't that run also give us the reason for why Wakanda never did anything about Slavery and African Colonization?

Hudlin is a mixed bag. He definitely has his go to bag of tricks when it comes to writing but he has been behind alot of good projects as well. I wouldn't want him to be the main writer of a series which is why I am afraid for the upcoming Milestone relaunch as he seems to be writing a lot of the books.

The Priest run would have been golden to see animated and actually fits the Marvel Knights moniker as it was a Marvel Knights book

Heck, I prefer him with Nakia than with Storm after watching the film.

Can't happen in the comics, because Nakia is a villain. They must've changed her into a hero, like they did with Hope Van Dyne (who was originally a villain from the MC2 continuity, the arch-nemesis of Stinger in A-Next), since they couldn't use Storm.

They probably got those guides on the cheap - I've seen them in discount bookstore The Works.

I know that Nakia is a villain in the main continuity but honestly it wasn't a good idea to have T'Challa and Storm to hook up in the comics IMO despite them being know each other when they were younger.

Storm is technically a princess so she marrying T'challa would also have political reasons too.

Yes, Christopher but again, that in my honest opinion, I don't think it was a good idea to have Storm and Black Panther ending up together as a couple.

Well again my point was more in the political sense. Marriages between a king and a princess tends to be for political reasons verses love reasons. So there were also political reasons for STorm to marry T'Challa. Having them have an relationship beyond political means was what really hurt it. It should have been a marriage to unite Storm's tribe with T'challa and maybe an heir produced later maybe. Overall though I do agree with you on it was just a bad idea even though it did lead to some exploiting of it for storylines.

It appears somebody listened to Gerry Conway's tell-all podcast interview (which was a patron exclusive to Spider-Talk) the reason he left Renew Your Vows was because Marvel ordered him to put the Venom symbiote on MJ because it was "cool" and "would sell"
Some posts about that have been removed from the forum, it seems the admins don't believe the source exists.

Is Spectacular selling because it's Spider-Man or is Zdarsky actually working some magic?

The Comicsgate community have fallen in love with him, so maybe their reviews/recommendations are helping to move the needle

Spectacular was kind of... bad at first. Okay, not bad, but incredibly mediocre, but then Zdarsky did something incredibly unexpected.

He allowed JJJ to find out that Peter was Spider-Man, and become an ally of him.

The writing for that and for the book since has been, ahem, spectacular and this is now feeling ripples across the books in general.

Norman Osborn just found out Peter's secret ID in Amazing because JJJ knew.
