Chargers got blown out, but only because everyone on the Seahawks were awesome out there. Boykin more than deserves to be Wilson's backup after that performance. Carson was da bomb as well.

Get ready for a football strike... in 2021.

Why the hell are they telling us this now?

Yahoo Article

eight veteran members of Tampa Bay’s offensive line took out two rookies, Korren Kirven and Cole Gardner, to a local Ruth’s Chris steakhouse, and by all accounts everyone had a fine time. And then the bill arrived
the rookies got stuck with a $26,357.31 Bill
LINK To Bill

turns out though it was prank it was actually around $3000 & the vets paid

“We didn’t have to pay for anything,” Kirven told ESPN. “We were shocked at first when we saw the bill. We thought we weren’t gonna make it. But at the end, knowing they paid it was pretty cool of them.”

Rams are 2-0! ...In games that don't count. But to hold the slight lead at halftime AND recapture the lead with only 1:11 left to play are good signs going into the season. They left Jared Goff in almost the entire first half, even Todd Gurley scored a touchdown.

I was really hoping Marshawn Lynch would have played more tonight, his return has by far been what I've most looked forward to.

The great Anquan Boldin seems to finally want to hang up the cleats. He announced today after training camp with the Bills that he is retiring.

Good for him as he had a long and great career. Not sure if he is a HOFer but he deserves recognition, one of the better receivers on and off the field.

Dear lord, the Chargers sucked tonight. Clemens was a bad quarterback, and somehow Cardale Jones was even worse. And Manti Te'o seriously made them pay for trading him to New Orleans. They were lucky they even scored.

And insult to injury, even the announcer at StubHub accidentally called them San Diego...

So that's effective immediately?

Certainly no shame in his game, he's done it all, including the ring.

Shit, he was probably done as soon as he got to Buffalo.

They need something to talk about; there's only so much juice you can squeeze from preseason lol.

Excited for the Giants game tonight, even though 3 games in 11 days sounds silly to me no matter the rationale.

Thankfully this is just Preseason because the Giants look horrible offensively. We still have yet to score a TD this preseason. What makes today's loss to the Browns worse, OBJ got hurt and Brandon Marshall got hurt. Our two best receivers injured in the same game, what are the chances. Wayne Gallman looked good at RB and I think we should consider starting him.

Chargers, you have no business being in LA. Los Angeles has no more room for another sports team. It's all Lakers, Dodgers, Rams, Clippers, Angels, the Kings, and whatever else I'm forgetting. Can't imagine how life is like in SoCal with so many sports teams around. And I can't believe Kellen Clemons is still in the league. All these crappy QBs on NFL teams but poor Kaepernick is unemployed all because he was one of the guys who started the protests last year.

Yeah, not a good outing offensively. Luckily their injuries aren't anything too worrisome. That hit on OBJ looked very bad in real time.

Defense looked on point though.

Yea we looked good defensively, that's great at least. The OBJ hit looked dirty for sure. NFL needs to ban lower leg hits in general for all positions, not just QBs.

Believe me, local sports media has discussed this AT LENGTH.

We are very much a Laker town (despite the Clippers being a playoff team for years now), and the Dodgers are the biggest live entertainment ticket seller. Ultimately, we have the deck so stacked that we bandwagon our asses off whenever any one franchise gets hot, like when everyone became hockey fans because the Kings finally got the Stanley Cup.

The Rams fans were raised that way and supported them throughout the St. Louis era, so the Chargers butting in bothers a lot of football fans, to the point where the staff has created a "Fight for L.A." campaign that promises they'll win games to win the city's respect.

All these crappy QBs on NFL teams but poor Kaepernick is unemployed all because he was one of the guys who started the protests last year.
I've always thought it was more than that, though. It's not like all he did was take a knee during a song, and it's not like he was the best of the best last season.

I mean, who would you prefer? The guy who is clearly not an elite quarterback but serviceable enough to do the job, or the guy who used to be an elite quarterback and can't seem to get his groove back who will also disrupt the locker room AND draws attention for his political views? Considering how most viewers hated Tebow purely for the media circus he attracted, it's easy to see a franchise discriminating against Kaepernick for the same.

Reports are coming out that OBJ may miss the season opener against the Cowboys. Just what we needed, ughhhhh.

Man, Kansas City looked more and more raggedy as the game went on tonight. Bray losing that ball said it all.

And we lost Spencer Ware in this game, Julian Edelman in the game before, and none of this even counts. Dallas may want to rethink playing Ezekiel Elliott tomorrow, especially when they've conned themselves into thinking his appeal is going to work. Just wait until October 22 and shock the world, Cowboys.

Reports are claiming that Julian Edelman may have torn his ACL, talk about a huge blow.

Have zero interest even in my hometown team the Eagles (even if I currently live now in Steelers territory), but found out about this adorable visitor during the pre-season game the other day...

It's been confirmed this morning that Julian Edelman has completely torn his ACL. Very likely he is done for the season. Hopefully Rob Gronkowski can stay healthy but knowing the Pats they will overcome this.

So the Chargers waited until the L.A. contest to finally win a preseason game.

How unbelievably embarrassing that the Rams bothered to come all the way back from that burial and miss the kick that would have won it for them. >_<
