Once again. U.S viewer here. We can not see the episodes.
No point saying that like the people posting the episodes in this thread can help it. I've mentioned Machinima putting the episodes up on their app or something before... I think maybe that's how they're streaming the episodes for US viewers. At the time, I assumed that would prove problematic for non-US fans, but it seems that we're all getting simple YouTube uploads while you guys are forced to use their... app, streaming service, whatever. Perhaps it's best to look into that? Or again, any mirrors on YT or elsewhere, if getting Machinima's service is inconvenient.

Anyway, Windblade's voice-acting is a lot better here. Not sure if it's due to the emoting (rage, despair) or just that she's talking with that Peter Cullen imitation. Seriously... some of Prime's lines were great, but the delivery on the whole was rather poor. The line where he's talking about the way, he practically says half of it in one breath. "Or without provocation" is the only part I can recall off the top of my head, but it all comes so quickly. Many of his other lines seem basically duotone. And his grunts when Windblade was blasting him away felt more like he was groggy. XD Do we know how many episodes we're getting?

Might've asked before but didn't see any responses, so thought I'd ask who were you guys' favorite Starscream voice, and favorite Bumblebee voice?

Gotta go G1 for both. Back in the day when Starscream was also Cobra Commander and Bumblebee was also Spider-Man.

I actually liked Michael Dobson's Starscream from the Unicron Trilogy. Bumblebee I have no comment on.

How about this for a debate;favorite voice for Prime and Megatron.

This is a tough one because I grew up with Gary Chalk as Prime but Cullen is pretty good too. Then of course you also have Kaplan (the original RiD) and David Kaye (Animated). I am going to have to go with Chalk.

As for Megatron, things get hairy. You have Frank Welker obviously, David Kaye (BW/Unicron Trilogy) and then you have Cory Burton from Animated (who voiced many characters in G1 including my favorite character Sunstreaker). For Megatron, as tough as it is because both Welker and Kaye did amazing jobs, I am going to have to defer to Welker and that is tough.

While I always knew about the former, it was only a few years ago I knew about the latter. I also liked Michael Dobson's Starscream both his sympathetic version of Armada/Energon, and his return to treachery that was smarter than the G1 version in Cybertron. (There he kept his opinions private and when he made his move, Megatron didn't see it coming). Will say of the three actors who voiced both him and Cobra Commander, I'd say he's the one I prefer his Starscream voice to his Cobra Commander voice.

With the topic of Optimus and Megatron voices, often hear guys to compare guys besides Cullen and Welker due to a lot of folks' preference.

I'm sorry, but Combiner Wars is AWFUL.

The animation is lackluster, the voices are barely trying and the writing makes the Michael Bay movies look competent.

For those of us in the USA, you can watch the episodes on Go90. it's not the best, but it appears to be free streaming.
Here is what has been released so far.

Episode 1: The Fall
Episode 2: The Council
Episode 3: The Duel

I think the animation is pretty good (considering it's not exactly a high-budget series like Prime), except when it comes to the faces. The voice-acting isn't great, sadly. I've barely been paying attention to the writing, honestly... been distracted by the voices delivering the lines.

That would be the Machinima streaming that I mentioned. Good job on finding it.

And 10 episodes seems... like there won't be too much going on here. Three episodes in and we've only just finished with the exposition... seven more could give us a cohesive short story but it's not going to feel like a full series. But then if they're planning multiple seasons, that could lead to a larger overall story.

I've never really liked Cullen's Prime he always feels so melodramatic even during downtime. Gary Chalk will always be Prime in my book and if they ever decide to visit the Beast Wars concept again I hope that he can get cast as Prime once more.

For Megs I'd say David Kaye. That guy's voice is so joyously sinister. Every time he drops a "yyYes..." it's like a chocolate waterfall in my ear. But also it's pretty obvious what era of Transformers I grew up with hahaha

Bumblebee would have to be a tie between Friedle and Bosch, I think they both provide youth for the character that I personally don't get from Gilvezan but maybe that's just me.

Starscream is probably the hardest for me because out how differently the character gets played. Latta and Dobson do a really solid "baseline" Starscream but then you have Blum's performance which has all this subtlety but stillfeels like he has the potential to go off at the drop of a hat. Whyte and Parker do a really great "wild" Starscream; like the Scream who has already jumped ship on logic and reason and has just fully given in to the crazies.
All in all I'd have to say Blum's is my favorite simply due to how much range he gave the character compared to prior incarnations.

Favorite VA in all of Transformers?

For me it is Scott McNeil. With all due respect to Welker, who is one of my favorite VA's ever, Scott's characters are some of my favorite in the series. Rattrap, Waspinator and Dinobot are some of the best characters in the franchise. Never really was into Silverbolt but I did like Armada Jetfire. Besides, Scott himself is an absolute nut.

Wonder if Blades reacting to Bumblebee getting his voice back was supposed to mirror younger viewers' reactions? Were people fans of the beeping voice Bumblebee?

Combiner Wars is a hot mess right now. I'm hoping it gets better. Giving Optimus something to do was cool, though. The cheapness, oh man it's all over this thing like a bad suit.

Seriously? There's no sign Ultra Magnus will even appear in the movies, let alone combine with Optimus.
