Hey, getting to the 'Drome is pretty impressive for people like me who couldnt get past the underwater bit
The underwater bit gets pretty easy after a few continuous playthroughs... Getting through the whole game though is a different story.

The furthest I ever made it (legitimately, anyway.....hooray, Game Genie!) was the last hallway before the fight with Shredder in the Technodrome. I really liked the game a lot, but even so, I always enjoyed the TMNT episode. I think it's one of the best of his early episodes, along with Double Dragon 3.

I remember Double Dragon 3... That game busted my balls... So did Final Fight. Heck in Final Fight I made it to about the fifth area legit before losing all continues. I guess I just really suck at side scroller beat em ups.

I get what you mean, he's got very limited resources left after all the reviews he's done.
I beg to differ. He may have covered a lot of Atari, NES, SNES and Genesis turds along the way but I think he should move forward on his review timeline because the PS1, N64, Saturn, and Dreamcast have a lot shit turds that need to be covered.

Lets not forget all of the bad Handhelds from the late 90s as well.

I'd love to see him do a review outside of April where he calls out Ocarina of Time and calls it shit. Post it up and let zelda fans rage before saying it was an April Fool's joke the whole time. I would laugh my ass off.

I love watching AVGN's videos. It brings back a ton of nostalgia.

I got to meet him & Mike at Digital Press back in 2010.

Was that the same day he had the "fight" with Doug?
If so, were you there for that too?
If so, I'm super jealous XD

The episodes that tend to get the most amount of requests or have a certain amount of infamy to them tend to be the best in my eyes. Ones that come to mind are the Power Glove, SMB3, Superman 64, Virtual Boy, Plumbers Don't Wear Ties, and ROB.

No, this was his second appearance at Digital Press. I didn't get to see the fight in person.
Ah, okay.
Cool none the less. Congrats.

So I've been watching the episodes again on a YT playlist. Man those days when I would wait on gametrailers for the episode, download the episode and keep a backlog.

Also saw that live event of the trailer premiere. A little late on this, but congratulations to James and his wife. He's gonna be a daddy soon...

AVGN has literally no ending in sight.
He just finished making the movie man.

Well, James could end up stopping AVGN and going home to be a family man. On the other hand, film making is the guy's life. So who knows, really?

Doesn't he have all those other shows like Board James and his movie reviews and such? I doubt that giving up AVGN would hurt him that badly.

Well his wife is pregnant. So he has a child coming.
But as you said making content is his life and he loves his fandom, I don't see AVGN ending for years and years.
Even if it ends up being one episode a year.
