Glad someone made this thread

I'm a big fan of James and Mother Fucker Mike, I also enjoy his other work on the site like Turtle Tuesdays and his college movie projects that are very entertaining.

I knew Ikari Warriors sounded familiar. Then it hit me when he mentioned the two characters Ralph and Clark in King of Fighters.

Pretty good episode, I'm glad I never played that game as a kid.

I don't really have the time to watch him nowadays (plus I think he's kind of peaked), but I'm happy for his success and will definatly watch his movie.
I really disagree with this. I feel he barely gets the recognition he deserves.

Never played the NES version, but the arcade version was ok.

That's just me really, given I was there since the start, I just think he's covered all the best stuff. I'll be back for the movie though.

I get what you mean, he's got very limited resources left after all the reviews he's done.

I'm just sad that he never spotlighted Bucky O'Hare and the Toad Wars... Or maybe I should be glad as that was an awesome game.

I remember initially depsising him for his NES Ninja Turtles roast...I always thought that game was very good, although difficult as all hell. Why difficult equates to "suck" I don't know...

I've always said that it's one thing for a game to be hard or challenging, while "pain in the neck" is another thing entirely. As someone who has played the game, I believe his rants were valid.

I actually had a lot of the same problems he did though so I never had a problem with that roast as it mirrored everything I complained about when I played the game, and heck I couldn't even beat the game. I got as far as the inside of the technodrome before getting game over.

I've watched a couple of walkthroughs, and I still don't think I could make it past the Turtlevan stage. In fact, that's usually where I'd just stop playing.

Back in the day, I always kept one Turtle in reserve until the underwater part, then I'd use him for that part with all of the electric reef. Beyond that, once you knew where the bombs were, it was easy to get past.
