Jimmy is having Chris Hardwick on as a guest?! WTF?!?! O_o

First Morgan Webb, now Chris Hardwick... Man, Craig Ferguson was right when he said Jimmy was competing with Adult Swim for an audience, as opposed to him.

Heh. That's somewhat cool.
Jimmy's late. Tyra had people like Morgan Webb and Kevin Pereira on years ago.

I really am a big fan of Conan since the early 2000s when it was on Comedy Central reruns from the night before, then recorded it when I got a sattalite dish in 2007. Thank god Jay chose him to replace himself as the "Tonight Show" host.

Now for Jimmy, he needs time to get used to like maybe 3 years or so, since the early years of "Late Night with Conan O'Brien". I liked him on SNL on "Weekend Update" so attack me all you guys want, but I still liked Conan as "Late Night" host before.

Anyways off topic, when will David Letterman going to choose the next host of the "Late Show"?

That was NBC, not Jay. They told him back in '04 he could have the Tonight Show so he wouldn't jump to CBS after Kilbourne left.

Come on, Snagglepuss. You know you love it when Jimmy slow-jams the news.
Okay. That's it. I'm giving you five index cards that say "BLACK" on them. Everytime you do something very non-black I'm going to take one away. When they're all gone you're officially not a black man anymore.

I'm taking one right now for your Jimmy Fallon love. You're down to four. Use your white boi outbursts wisely.

Let's be honest, we're all thinking it. The signs are there.

The freaky obsession with Cerina Vincent's boobs? Yeah. Someone's overcompensating.

so, today was Conan's first show. thoughts anybody?

All I have to say really is Wow is that set huge. hard to really judge the show with most of it being about the transition but it all seems like classic Conan.

Highlights

1-Running across America( the promos make sense now)

2.Taurus skit

3. Universal Studios skit

This was like if "Late night with Conan" went to LA for a week LOL

I enjoyed it. Kinda tame compared to his usual stuff but given the new audience he's playing to I can see why it would be a little toned down.

the only thing toned down I noticed was he didnt do the whole runtine where he jumps up in the air and lands on the end of the band intro. but I have a a feeling he'll work it in later out of habit alone. I hope anyway. but he's always said he wouldnt tone down anything outside of what the censors will allow at that hour. but he says now its time to be even crazyier, not tone it down. I think that was just for the very first episode. I give it a week tops before the dust settles a bit and he's back to his usual self.

And I was cracking up at the "circle" mob chant, even by the studio audience. haha

He snuck the string dance in there! It was then that the show felt like home.

Do they still have the Choco Taco at El Pollo Loco? Could have sworn they took it off the menu a few years back.

Jay stepped down because he didn't want what happened with Letterman to happen with Conan.

He tried to to it, but the timing was off. He was in mid air when the band stopped playing.

Conan continues to be awesome.

Jimmy continues to make me flip over to reruns of that guy from the Drew Carey show.

Not surprising, since when has Letterman been in the lead of late night talk shows?

First episode was awesome! I especially liked the opening skit and the Universal Studios tour part.
