It just seems weird because I don't remember such a glaring size or age difference between the two in the past. I own a few Young Justice and Titans comics, and --- while it's beyond awesome to see Connor again --- it seems like he had a massive growth spurt between then and now. Is that just clone stuff, or is he meant to look like that?

Besides, if Connor is hooking up with any of his team-mates, it's Tim, damn it.

I wonder if Johns is looking around DC at the moment, and his heart just isn't in it anymore.
That's why I could never get a Geoff Johns event. First half is brilliant and the rest is just wtf? Its like he gave up or doesn't know how resolve it. I'm sure some editorial interference didn't help either.

Gary Frank has said on twitter he himself has no clue what's causing the delays. It could well be that Geoff has a complete story, but the rest of DC's titles are having difficulty catching up and aligning with the "one year later" continuity.

Carol Danvers aka Captain Marvel has a new #1 issue today. This is what, the 5th #1 since she became CM? This movie better be worth it.
Volume 10 [including her Ms. Marvel runs] says it all really.

More stupid bland headcanons, because boredom and the need for amusement

Dick Grayson once stole on of Jason Todd's Red Hood suits, painted it black and white and kept declaring "We are Venom". Jason was less than amused.
During once incident, Conner Kent ended up in the Young Justice universe and met his counterpart there. He called him Captain Kirk due to his relationship with Megan.
Some people have nicknamed Lain Harper Wednesday Addams. She takes it as a complement
To get Irey West's attention, Damian Wayne once stood outside her house and copied the famous scene from Say Anything. She found it sweet. Her father Wally was less than amused.
Conner Kent claims he fought a Chupacabra. No one believes him
Lian Harper is to Damian Wayne what Donna Troy was to Dick Grayson
Abuse's powers mutated to now instead of looking like the Hulk, he resembles a beastal version of Wolverine. He even calls people Bub from time to time
Dick and Barbara have frequently gone on double dates with Jason and Kara.
During a time when she felt Tim was ignoring her, Stephanie Brown once did a provocative dance in front of and on him to the song Touch Myself, which she also lip synced to. Jason and Bart still have the footage.

I really wish Tintin were more popular in the U.S. I used to love reading the comic compendiums and watching the cartoon, that art style was perfectly classic and contemporary at the same time.

The CGI movie didn't do much for me, in look or content.

A head-mounted cannon that launches SPAM is something I hope to see on Shark Tank. It's better than the Elephant in the Room, that's for damn sure.

Did the movie underperform or something? Speilberg and Jackson wanted to make more but all the parties involved got tied up with other projects, Jackson with the Hobbit movies, the scriptwriters with either Ant-Man or Doctor Who/Sherlock, and Speilberg with everything else

Once you take into account the theater's cut of the gross and the money spent on marketing, the Tintin movie probably ended up $61 million in the red on the studio's ledger. So yeah, not great.

If you follow the actual conversation he's having, it's about how Image was founded, not what the company is now. The joke is based on the Image idea of the best hottest young talent taking off and forming their own company and saying screw the big 2, with the intent to never work there again and takeover the industry. That's the idea of AEW, all the young hot new talent going and forming their own company to steal or reshape the industry away from WWE.

It's not a diss on Image, just pointing out the hilarity of the concept similarities. And of course a deserved dig at Rob Liefeld. Because screw that guy, any chance you get, take a shot at him.

It's bordering on listing especially since no one is playing along. It's not really spam, but you're not really having a conversation, it kind of doesn't make sense to keep going with it as a result. It's in a weird grey area where doing it isn't going to hurt anything, but it's probably not going to help you with anything either.

Serves me right for not reading the whole thing.

And fair enough I guess. Just want to have some fun.

I still need to watch that Tintin movie, but heard it was ok. Did read it underperformed here due to Tintin not being so big, but it did rather well in Europe.

I own one full series of Captain Marvel (it's her having space adventures with her lesbian alien goddess friend, or something), and all I really got from that was that Carol can be abrasive. That's fine, you know, she's a hard-ass. But after twenty or so issues, I could not tell you anything else about her.

She just feels like one of those characters nobody really knows who she is or what to do with her.
